An hour later we were all casted into our respective groups. Luckily for me, Travis and Sydney are in a group together so I only have to worry about sabotaging one team.
I don't even even know how they got in that group together. We were all standing right next to each other. I guessed I just hadn't realized it before. They were always sneaking off without me. I feel so dumb and used. Like Michelle from Destiny's Child.
I wonder how long it would've taken them to tell me. Or would either of them ever even tell me... I put my emotions to the side for the time being and observe my team.
Mostly loners. All relatively attractive though, except for one fatty but I could work with that.
I glanced around the gym to see where Eddie was and I spotted him in some slutty sandwich with girls draping over his shoulders. They were fascinated with his hair and couldn't seem to stop fingering it. He looked up, saw me, and gave me an infomercial level wink that I taught him when we first met.
I laughed and decided to concentrate on my team. Although, it was pretty damn hard when your cheating boyfriend and bestfriend were in a team stationed right next to you.
They were hitting each other playfully and laughing and flirting and shit. I wanted to puke. I'll save that for later though when I make my scene.
"Hi! I'm Kiera Sole. Super excited! I'm in ten clubs and am the president of several of them so I have pull. I basically know everyone here so there should be no beefing," this tiny girl says, obviously proud of her semi-correct usage of slang.
She has dark brown hair with blonde tips and a cute Chinese bang. Her caramel skin resembles mine. But, I can't stop staring at her flawlessly white Michael Kors cross body purse.
If her voice wasn't so squeaky, maybe I'd like her more.
"Alright, so we have the popularity vote. And also the sympathy vote for big girl over there," Some mildly cute guy with square glasses says. Obviously a geek. And obviously an asshole.
"I'm not fat, I'm pregnant," the fatty says. She's actually pretty once you get past the hideous Sunday school dress she has on. Her shoulder length blonde hair makes her greenish eyes pop.
We all went silent for a while. Seeing as though this group has quite the characters I savored this moment because we might not ever be this quiet again.
But, that didn't last long.
"Bitch what?" I say, before I could stop myself.
"No no. Um hell no. Excuse me, Principal McBald!" A girl with shining dark brown skin says. Her black hair is in a messy bun on the top of her head that I so badly want to redo.
Since all of the teams are on the floor, instead of the bleachers it doesn't take long for McErnest to get to us.
"Yes, Ms. Winston?" He says with obvious exasperation.
"This bit- I mean this young lady is pregnant. How we supposed to do activities and win when she got a baby living inside her?", the girl speaks with even more attitude than me. Lol.
"Yes, we have pregnant students Ms. Winston. What do you want me to do, give you a medal for figuring that out? I can't kick them out since this isn't an actual academic school year", McErnest says.
"No, but I want you to accommodate us or something. This isn't fair if the other teams can have everybody participate all the time," she says.
"Fine. The pregnant one can participate or not participate in the activities of her choosing. One less player for you guys to worry about," and with that Principal McErnest walks away.
