Chapter 1

How will I fit all of my things in just two bags?

"Anak, can you please turn the music down? Your mother and I are trying to sleep. We have a big day tomorrow." I rolled my eyes and continued to zip the bag that I'm trying to fix my things. Music is the only things that can calm me down when I'm stressed and with this problem of mine, I don't even know if music is enough.

"Sure! If you give me a couple more bags!" I look at my scattered clothes that couldn't fit in.

"Two bags are enough. Besides, some people don't even have bags, you need to be at least grateful for that. Plus, they are branded." I pouted. Great! Another lecture.

"Well, it's not my fault their parents didn't think of their future, Mom."

"Well, it's not your fault either that they weren't born a life like yours."

"Whatever, Mom. I'm sick of you nagging me these things." I quickly ended the argument when I finished zipping my bags, leaving the stuff for no choice.

"Yeah kapag magiging ina ako, which will never happen."

They both groans. I know they talked of wanting a grandchild soon and because I'm an only child, ako lang ang chance, kaso ayoko e.

I went to my cabinet to find something useful to put some of my accessories and skin care but before I could even move an inch, dad yelled.

"Just sleep, okay? What's the sense of getting most of your stuff?"

"Emergencies, Dad." That parents like you will never understand.

Oh diba? Experience.

These parents, always talking like they know everything yet they don't.
