Around noon was when the bell to (Y/N)'s school had rung. The moment it rang everyone was up and ready to go to the cafeteria or to visit their friends from other classrooms. (Y/N), however, did not liked the school lunch nor brought her own. Of course, Xiao predicted this would happen and gave her his own lunch.
"Here." He plopped the lunch bag onto her desk, but she pushed it away. "Please eat Lady (Y/N)."
"Im not hungry." She retorted but glanced at the bag. "You can have it instead."
"I do not indulge in mortal food. I cannot digest it. So take it." He told her. She was skeptical at first but eventually gave in.
(Y/N) snatched the bag away from Xiao. She took a whiff after opening the bag. Inside was her favorite food and besides that laid an apple. She loved apples more than anything.
She took out the apple and wiped it clean with the sleeve of her uniform. As she took a bite of the apple, she couldn't help but smile at how juicy and savory it was.
Xiao averted his gaze from her, hoping that his bright red face wasn't noticeable. He crossed his arms around his chest before slouching on his chair.
Once she finished her lunch, she wiped her face with a napkin before dusting off her uniform and standing up from her seat. "Excuse me, I need to go to the restroom."
Xiao had gotten up from his seat too. However, she held up her hand and shook her head no.
The male frowned. "I cannot leave you alone. Let me come with you."
"I'm going to the bathroom. What danger can possibly be lurking there?" Furrowing her brows, (Y/N) glared at Xiao's golden eyes. He kept a poker face and stared back at her.
"Excuse me, I also tend to be going to the restroom. If it helps, I can go with her so she doesn't have to be alone." Keqing popped into the conversation as she rested the palm of her hand on her shoulder. She gave a friendly smirk at (Y/N).
Xiao opened his mouth to say something, but no words could come out. He sighed then sat back down, placing his arms on the cold desk.
"I'll be back then." (Y/N) told him and marched out of the room. Keqing followed as she told Ganyu to stay in the classroom as well. She complied and stayed in her seat.
"I didn't need your help. I could've convinced him I was fine." (Y/N) scoffed. "Besides, we're not friends so don't act like we are."
"I assumed you were having trouble doing so. It looked to me he was willing to follow you in the bathroom, would you have preferred that?" She took a glance at (Y/N) who now had slightly widen eyes and a very light blush covering her cheeks. She took notice of Keqing staring and immediately turned around, to which she giggled softly.
"Shut up. I don't-"
"Ahhh HE'S here!" A girl shouted out and pointed a finger towards the two walking. Suddenly, a herd of girls went rushing down the hallway in the direction that the girl pointed in. They charged at both (Y/N) and Keqing, but luckily, Keqing had moved out of the way. (Y/N) was unfortunate, for she was pushed into the ground. Someone had kicked her skull and her head started to pound. She placed a hand on the right side of her head when she noticed a hand right in front of her.
