Into the Portal part 1

          Queen Glimmer has had enough she had been arguing with Shera for the last few days about advancing their powers. The horde had taken over most of Etheria's kingdoms by now leaving many princesses without castles or palaces. Time was of the essence if the rebellion was to flourish then they must act now.....
          Shera paces back and forth arms crossed eyebrows furled in a scowl. " We can't just activate the heart Glimmer you have to listen to me you can't trust Light Hope she has been corrupted...."
                 " WE CAN NOT JUST STAND BY WHILE MORE PEOPLE DIE ADORA WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!" Queen Glimmer shouts putting a finger on Adora's chest to basically show her authority as leader of the rebellion.
                " GLIMMER I HAVE SEEN WHAT HAPPENED TO MARA SHE SACRIFICED HERSELF...... SO THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE TO!" Adora shouts back at the stubborn rebellion leader.
                       " ADORA DON'T YOU FORGET I AM THE LEADER OF THE REBELLION  AND QUEEN OF BRIGHTMOON!" Glimmer growls as Catra begins to hiss lowly.
           " ADORA A WORD!...." Catra tugs at her wife's crown pulling her to the side.
                      " OW OW OW CATRAAAAA THAT HURTS!" The blonde warrior princess whines as her wife drags her away.
                 Catra sighs and places a kiss on Adora's cheek causing their daughter to groan in disgust. " Adora maybe we can't trust Light Hope.....But can't you trust Glimmer?......... What other option is there?...... Without our powers enhanced we are all sitting ducks..... We are without kingdoms without castles without allies.... Just think about it............... Ok babe?"
In the other room the new rebellion princesses gather like a highschool click.....
             " Oh look it's the horde princess who almost destroyed half of Etheria......." Pearl glares at Meowria who is walking their way.
       " Yeahhhhhhh way to go flame thrower." Winterisa adds the daughter of Frosta who was the youngest of the new rebellion.
              " Come to burn down more houses lava pit?...... Stormellia the daughter of Netossa and Spinnerella the oldest of the group scoffs.
" Come on guys lay off her she has been through enough......." Sparkle glares at the other princesses as she goes over to Meowriankna who has begun to sob.
" What if they are right about me?....... What if I am just a villain?...............I don't even have full control of my powers yet...... What if I deserved everything that has happened to me?........." Hot tears stream down the Halfmoonian princess's cheeks as she lowers her head in shame.
" Meowria don't listen to them I know you aren't a bad guy you never were you were manipulated..... and tortured.... by the horde..... I know how hard it is to fit in.... It's new and scary..... but..... you are stronger than you realize.... I know you are." Sparkle places her hand on Meowria's shoulder to reassure her.
" Y-you think s-so?..." Meowria's eyes light up as she sniffles.
" I know so.... Plus our moms are both a couple of really powerful queens....Can the others say that about their's...?" Sparkle smirks winking as she whispers to her friend.
" Pfffffffffff......I guess you are right they can not." The feline princess chuckles as she wipes her tears away.
Both girls begin to laugh at their inside joke Pearl comes over to see what all the fuss is about." What's soooooo funny?..." The mermaid princess puts her hands on her hips.
" Oh nothing..... you wouldn't get the punchline any how.... Bubblebreath." Meowriankna smirks crossing her arms over her chest eyebrow raised as she winks.
" DON'T CALL ME THAT!..." Pearl glares at the feline balling her hands into fists.
" Aweeeeeee what's wrong can't take a joke scales?... Too much time in the ocean must've waterlogged that big head of your's...... I think I hear a seagull calling your name mauh mauh." Meowria's face becomes smug as her smirk grows.
" WHYYYYYYY YOU LIL!......" Pearl starts to charge the commotion alerting their parents in the next room.
" BRING IT ON !......FISH STICKS OR FISH FILLET SOUND MIGHTY TASTY RIGHT NOW!......... I COULD GO FOR FRIED FISH TAIL RIGHT ABOUT NOW!..............."Meowriankna's eyes glow orange but she stops when she sees two shadows looming over her.
Catra and Adora glare at their daughter with disappointment. Meowria's eyes grow wide as she soon realizes her parents are standing right behind her.
" MEOWRIANKNA CHOCOLATESHAKEKITTY MEOWMEOW!" Catra roars the teen's full name it was at this moment the kitten knew she was in big trouble as her mother has used her full name.
" Tshhhhh she started it....." Meowria huffs back turned away from the mermaid princess.
All the teenagers get earfuls from their parents.....this war has made everyone tired Stress loomed in the air. The princess alliance was hanging by a mere thread. The galactic horde was on their way....
" Queen Catra it's true Pearl and the others were picking on your daughter I was only trying to cheer her up she was only trying to stand up for herself please believe us." Sparkle looks at the queen of Halfmoon in the eye.
" Is this true Meowria?..." her mother places her hand on her shoulder looking at Meowria's face.
" Yes momma cat it is they called me names and I guess I took things a little too far when firing back......" Meowria's ears pin back as she looks into the eyes of the queen.
" You girls should be ashamed of yourselves......Look I know all of us living together under one roof is hard but we are all we have like a big family it is time we all put our differences aside and look at what is most important ending this war..... Once and for all." Adora sighs as she looks at the group every face a glimmer of hope for Etheria's survival.
" Adora is right......Why are we fighting amongst ourselves? .......When we should be fighting to protect our homes our planet......We are a family it's time we start acting like it." Glimmer adds looking at her best friend nodding in acknowledgment.
" Glimmer I do trust you.... If you must.... Activate the heart do so..... I am sorry I doubted you." Adora looks away from the queen of Brightmoon.
" I don't like it either Adora but okay I will do it." Glimmer smiles hugging her long time best friend a little too long earning a glare from the very territorial wife of Shera.
Light Hope has more than they bargained for up her sleeves....... Etheria's greatest trials are about to start. The rebellion will be tested soon enough..........
