Chapter 6

~RECAP~

"Naira-ssi the passcode is written down on a sticky note next to the intercom and also please come to the office tomorrow as Pd-nim would like you to sign NDA's things like that. i will take my leave now have a good night." Sejin-ssi says and leaves the apartment and i stand by the door and bow as he leaves...

Naira's Point Of View...

The girls enter the apartment immediately after Sejin-ssi leaves. I help Jiah with my Suitcase. So-Hyun has a packet filled with convenience store food like ramyeon, kimbap, a few eggs and drinks. The moment they step inside, they exclaim "wow". Give them a tour of the small apartment after which they go and settle themselves in the lounge while I go to the kitchen to fill a kettle of water and put it to boil. I then proceed to the lounge and take a seat before the questioning begins

Sophia and So-Hyun both ask the same question without hesitation: "Are you Jungkook's girlfriend?".

"I..." Do I lie or tell them the truth. Before I could say anything Jiah interrupts me and says "Guys don't ask that question today has been traumatic enough for Naira and you asking her this question could trigger her anxiety."

"Sorry Naira we were being inconsiderate," So-Hyun says apologetically.

"Soph, Sohyun-ah come with me to the kitchen and help with the food," Jiah instructs.

After a few minutes, they bring 4 cups of noodles and leave them on the coffee table, a few cans of cold drinks and vegetarian-friendly kimchi.

Jiah hands me a fork and vegetable ramyeon since I haven't figured out how to use chopsticks yet. With one mouthful of noodles in my mouth, I hum in delight at the spicy savoury goodness that comes from this small cup.

"Sohyun I will answer your question tomorrow as I am meeting Bang Sihyuk-nim and afterwards if I am permitted I can tell you okay cause I am not Jungkook's girlfriend I am not even a close acquaintance of his and we only met up coincidently," I explain.

"You don't have to explain the situation to us Naira," Sohyun assures me.

"I just wanted you all to know because it is not like I am hiding something." I further my reasoning.

"Okay leave all that now all of you eat," Jiah says.

After we all finish eating they clean up the tiny mess on the coffee table refusing my offer to help multiple times and I finally give up and wait for them. As soon as they finished cleaning, they helped me change into pyjamas, and Soph said, "We should leave soon since the dorm building will close in 30 minutes, and it will take at least 15 minutes to get to University, and probably another 10 minutes to walk."

"Okay, but don't you think it will be a bad idea to leave her all alone tonight," Sohyun says.

"You do have a point..." Jiah says considering the idea.

"Sorry to interrupt but you couldn't possibly consider the idea I am not that fragile i can look after myself. I appreciate the worry but seriously don't worry i will b fine." I assure them.

To which they agree and begin gathering their bags and putting on their coats and shoes and i see them out of the door we say our goodbyes and they enter the elevator and i wave at them before the door closes and i enter the apartment. once inside i grab the sticky note with the password for the apartment and wifi on it i connect to the wifi and I memorise the password for the apartment after the third time but i also put it on my phone notes just in case. I head to bed, placing my pillows and blanket on the bed and sorting it out before i sleep i hop in and switch the lights off, hours went by reading not being able to fall off to sleep is a normal occurrence since i was in grade 10 thanks to those all-nighters that conditioned my brain like this. It always ends up with me falling off to sleep and not even remembering how.
