"Are you crazy!? Running a private investigation all on your own, you're practically gonna get yourself killed! Do you even understand what's been happening around here lately!?" Bakugou shouted, turning to the greenette in shock at the revelation that he was accepting their offer. "You don't even know what you're getting yourself into, do you!?"

"No, I think I understand the gravity of the situation. This isn't just some dumb rivalry, there must be something deeper at play; something dangerous." Izuku started, cupping his chin as he began to engross himself with the facts that he had. "If they hire a private investigator it would be too easy to track, but if it were a student doing their own personal investigation-"

"Then it would keep things under wraps, as well as diverge any immediate suspicion. You're absolutely right, young man." Nezu chimed in, finishing the boys thought, never breaking his chipper exterior for even a moment. "But, you're right. It's a dangerous job; whoever is doing this has no issues with violence. It could even be that they're willing to sacrifice it all and commit... Unspeakable acts."

Everyone in the room grew quiet at the principal's implications, most already assuming the worst of the situation, but the greenette in question chose to look on the bright side.

"...Well, if it comes to that then we'll just need to take proper precautions. I'm more than aware of what I'm getting into, but I also know that along with me wanting to graduate and be successful this is something I need to do to ensure the safety of my peers. Pranks are one thing, but flat out assault and property damage will not go unpunished. I'll do everything I can to take down whoever is responsible." Izuku spoke, his voice filled with determination as he clenched his fist in what could only be known as righteousness. He was afraid, yes, but he was resilient and more courageous than most. He stood by his decision and all the staff of the school present smiled at his will; it was impressive. He was impressive.

Suddenly more footsteps were heard, these ones were heavy and there were quite a few of them. Aizawa seemed to be able to recognize it as he sucked his teeth before turning to the principle.

"Nezu, it's the police." He informed, watching as the smaller man nodded and then turned to the two boys with a smile, shooing them away with his hand.

"Alright, fun's over. You two should probably head on out of here through the window. Wouldn't want to get caught earlier than anticipated, right?" The man joked, earning a nod from the two teens who waved to their instructors as they made their way out through the window and climbed down the building just as the police began to enter the place, presumably to discuss details with Nezu.

After making their way down back onto the main field and averting the cautious gaze of the security and other students, Izuku and Bakugou found their way at the edge of the crowd with a plan to inform the others of their whereabouts and maybe discuss more openly about their next plan of action.

"Are you seriously doing this? You're not a fucking detective, or did those blows to your head make you forget that?" Bakugou questioned, his voice stern and angry. But what reason did the blond have to be angry? Admittedly he didn't know all too well himself, but for some odd reason he found a bit of concern for the greenette and his decision to go along with their administrators' crazy plans. "You've got no business investigating crimes like this, I doubt you even have an idea of where to start."

"No, but considering the fact that there's a connection with the crimes, and it seems to be traced back to Yuuei's rival school, it's likely that we'll be able to get somewhere if any joint events come up in the future, like say... Sports teams?" Izuku mumbled in response, his eyes widening soon after as if coming to some sort of conclusion. "If clubs come back on the table, we have to join one of the teams! And everyone else, they'll have to-"
