I returned home to dress "what should I wear Scarlett? I really need to look good!" Scarlett poked her head out of my closet "why? Are you trying to impress someone milady?" I felt my cheeks heat up "perhaps I am! What's so bad about that?!" She smiled and giggled "nothing, but may you tell me who?" I rolled my eyes while letting my blush go wild "well.. It may or may not be Ciel" Scarlett walked over to me "how about this?" I looked up at the light blue poofy dress "perfect!" This was my chance to maybe shine above Elizabeth.. Perhaps Ciel would consider me into being his wife? But even I know that won't be possible... As soon as Sebastian fulfills his quest, well that's it. Harsh but true.

After Scarlett curled my hair and applied my makeup I looked up into the mirror "I look amazing! Thank you Scarlett!" I twirled letting my light blue dress sway and my dark brown hair bounce. My eyes were painted with light blue eyeshadow and my lashes donned with black eyeliner and mascara.. I looked wonderful! I hope this is what I look like when I die.. Just so I can feel gorgeous one last time "Scarlett?" She looked at me through my mirror "yes, milady?" I gave her a small half smile but then grasped my mothers locket around my neck "when I die.. Can you see to it that I look this pretty? I'd like to be beautiful like this one last time" Scarlett frowned momentarily but perked back up "yes, Lady Ellie" I nodded in approval, though she was a demon she was a fine maid. I turned around to look at her "what will you be wearing, Scarlett?" She shrugged "my uniform, I'll mainly be there to serve you anyway" what!? No! That will not do! "Come" I firmly said while grabbing her hand. I led her onto my mother and fathers old room "milady? Why are we here?" I pushed her onto the bed and ran to the closet "you will not attend a ball with me dress as a servant! That's preposterous!" She looked rather confused as I ran to the giant wardrobe my mother had set aside especially for ball and party gowns "Hmm.. Do you have a color preference?" Scarlett's eyes widened as she realized "oh! My lady! I couldn't wear your mothers dress" I turned to look at her "why not? You know you'd look stunning.. Especially in this black one!" I pulled it out to show her "it is beautiful! Are you sure milady?" I nodded and smiled "now let's get you ready!" After she changed into the black poofy ball gown, I handed her a matching pearl necklace and bracelet set "wow! You look stunning.." She was a natural in my mothers black sparkling high heels "thank you" I looked at her hair "your face is beautiful as is so.. Let's just add some mascara? And maybe some lip gloss" I noticed she still had her gloves on "oh yeah..." I ran to another drawer of my mothers looking at the neatly folded gloves "here, put these on" they were elbow length black silk gloves "thank you, milady" her hair was laying perfectly strait as usual but it was beautiful.. "You're welcome. I couldn't have you dressed down, now shall we go?" She nodded and we headed out.

As we got there Scarlett stepped out first and helped me down "thank you" I said curtly "I believe they're already here" I nodded and walked inside the mansion.. It was filled with people but I didn't see Ciel anywhere "oh my! Aren't you two just lovely?!" I heard a male voice say, I turned to see the viscount of Druitt himself.. "Hello Aleister..." It was no secret he loved women.. And as nasty as it sounded.. Little girls too. "Well, well if it's not Ellie Bridgeport. What brings a beautiful doll like you out here?" Ugh. Human waste. "Well, it is a ball after all.." Heh, that rhymed "of course! Well, my delicate flowers I'll be seeing you later" I nodded not really counting on seeing him.. Who the hell would want to?

After looking for Ciel a while longer I gave up and leaned against a wall "did he not show up?!" Scarlett shook her head "I'm sure he's around here somewhere milady" I sighed and went to grab some punch, as I was I noticed one of Ciels servants I think his name was Bard.. At least that's what the clumsy maid called him... He must be here! I walked back to the wall Scarlett was still waiting at "I see his servants are here, so he must be here" Scarlett nodded "they're not dressed up like me.." I turned to her "so? Scarlett.. You're a demon... And you're my servant, if I ask you to dress up.. Well it's your job to" she smiled and nodded reassured. After leaning against the wall for a good twenty minutes I seen that little brat Elizabeth "milady! You're scowling! That isn't very proper!" I shrugged "she's right. It's not proper" I snapped my head to see Sebastian and a little girl? Wait... That's Ciel! Oh my god! I couldn't keep a strait face "what are you gawking at?!" Ciel asked angrily "nothing! You make a very pretty girl, Ciel" he blushed and looked away "you look nice tonight Scarlett" Sebastian said "thank you" awww... That's cute.

After Ciel discussed his plans with me, he told me to keep tabs on Elizabeth.. "Ugh, do I have to?" Ciel raised an brow "is that a problem?" I was blowing my 'I don't hate Elizabeth at all!' Cover.. Damn "no" I said while Scarlett stood behind me chuckling "good, then let's get to it" as soon as Ciel left I turned to Scarlett who was giving me a 'look' "don't say a word!" She nodded while chuckling again.. Ugh.. She's enjoying this. After a while of watching Elizabeth dance I began wishing I could, sigh. "Care to dance, lady Ellie?" That voice... It was SEBASTIAN! "Sebastian! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with ciel?" He shook his head "the young master told me to stay behind" I nodded "so about that dance?" He held his hand out to me and I gave a questioning look to Scarlett "I'll wait right here for you, milady" I smiled and took Sebastian's hand and he led me to the dance floor. As the music to a new song began Sebastian gently twirled me around in an beautiful waltz "having fun, lady Ellie?" I nodded, he must've known since I haven't stopped smiling since I began dancing "I love dancing, its something I'm good at" Sebastian smiled "the young master hates dancing.. Mostly because he can't dance but none the less he hates it.." Aww.. Well I guess me and Ciel will never dance together.. "Are you alright? You look sad all of a sudden" I shook my head "I'm fine, just concentrating on the music is all" he nodded but I could see a special spark in his eye "you know don't you?" He smirked but cast his eyes to the floor "I do.. And I'm for it" huh? "Are we talking about the same thing?" I asked in a thoroughly confused voice "if you're talking about having a crush on the young master then, I believe so" I blushed "and you're okay with that?" He laughed a little and nodded "how'd you know?" He shrugged while twirling me again "it's not hard to tell, especially by the way you act towards Elizabeth" I scoffed "I wouldn't like her even if Ciel wasn't promised to marry her" Sebastian sighed "though I don't know if his feelings are mutual, but anyone would be lucky to have you" I blushed madly at his kind words "thanks, you know.. I had a crush on you too at first" he smirked again "I know" I raised a brow questioningly "it was all over your face 'Sebastian is so likeable, who could hate Sebastian'" he finished by laughing and I scowled "it's not like I planned to like you at first.." As the music stopped he didn't let go of my hand "I'm glad you did, lady Ellie. I'm highly complimented. Just know though, it would never happen" I nodded.. I can't say I was too distraught over it. Finally I returned back to Scarlett and waited for the rest to come back.
