Chapter 6: swans, slippers and the sea

She had ran off after kissing the prince!! She is crazy!! Oh my gosh!! What's wrong with!!??
She runs up to Red who is making out with Liam in the corner, tearing her from him.
"Hey!!" She hisses and Liam looks stunned.
"Eleven fifty Red!!" Emma yells and Reds eyes widen.
"I'm sorry Liam. I must go!" She says kissing him once more before running off with Emma leaving a dazed Liam.
"Making out with the prince!? Seriously?!" Emma laughs.
"Hey I saw you dancing with the brother! I'm not the only one with a prince!!" She laughs and Emma goes silent.
They run up to the carriage but runs into oh my goodness-- Regina.
"Hey watch where you are going!!" She hisses.
"Sorry." Emma mutters trying to fake an accent. She looks up at them with curiosity in her eyes.
They walk past her into the carriage again leaving another dazed human being. (Well Regina isn't much of human though.)
"Wow that ball was sooo fun!!" Red giggles and Emma laughs nodding.
Once they arrive at the small cottage Red run out and thanks Emma.
They made it right in time.
One minutes before midnight.
She sighs in relief.
The ride back to her manor was slow which was unnerving. If Cora knows she went, she is going to be in so much trouble.
Emma gets the driver to take the back route so she can climb up to her window.
She climbs the side of the building and she hears the clack of horses walking.
They're home!!
She climbs faster than jumps through the window. She zips her dress off then throws her mask onto her bed.
She slips out of wait one only one? Slipper.
Oh no! How did she not notice.
She shakes her head then throws her dress, slippers and mask into the closet as she takes pins out of her hair.
She throws the tiara into the drawers and jumps into her bed. Wiping makeup onto a rag.
The door starts rattling and she pulls her blanket up and lays down.
"Oh hello." She greets making Cora glare.
She scans the room then looks back at Emma.
She closes the door and walks back down the steps.
A sigh escapes her. She did it!!
She really did it!!
Now about Killian... Screw it!
She will worry about that tomorrow.

She left, leaving her slipper which is abnormally small...
Small feet weird. But adorable.
Walking back into the castle, he finds Liam looking just as dazed and confused as Killian.
"What just happened?" Liam asks clearly out of it.
"You tell me." Killian says shaking his head.
"How are we going to find them Kill?" He asks staring at the ground.
"I have no clue brother but I did get this." He smiles handing him the slipper.
"Kill? How is a slipper going to do anything?" He asks.
"She left it by accident. Must have slipped off her foot as she ran off." He shakes the thought off. "Anyways it's very small and I know this women. If this person fits the shoes with blond hair, green eyes and a swan necklace it has to be her."
"It might work..." Liam says agreeing. "But how are we going to find, Red--well Ruby?"
"Easy, they are friends. She wears a red hood and you know her name whereas I don't. You got this easy Liam."
He nods.
This is going to be a long ride.
As everyone leaves the kingdom, he greets and thanks as many of them as he can.
"I saw you with that lovely women Killy!! You two were soo cute!!" Ariel smiles giddy.
"Thanks I guess?" He laughs, blush forming on his cheeks and neck making Ariel grin.
"What's her name?" Ariel asks smiling brightly, Eric (her husband) standing behind her laughing.
"I have no bloody idea." Killian laughs and Ariel furrows her brow and keeps her lips in a firm line. "She wouldn't tell me it. She said 'no need for names tonight' or 'just call me exactly that' which I called her love."
"Hmm.. You'll find her Kill." Eric says and he nods. Ariel smiling.
She brings him in for a hug.
"I love you Killy!" She whispers in his ear and he says it back to her.
Eric shakes his hand then the couple goes to talk with the queen and Liam.
He is so getting Ariel to help.
Robin too.
He will find her!!

The next morning, she is back to her regular chores and clean up however she can't keep the smile off her face and She won't stop humming.
"Why are you in such a good mood?" Ariana asks taking an apple out of the bowl on the counter.
"I don't know!" Emma laughs and gracefully slides across the floor dusting each and everything thing.
She hums another tune and twirls.
"Can you always be in this good of a mood?" Ariana laughs and then leaves the room.
It sure feels good.
Robin was right, it did change her life.
That one night!!
She hums louder and dusts faster.
Her little moment of piece is interrupted as Cora and Regina come rushing in.
"Prince Killian Jones is on a search for that one girl he danced with at the ball and we need you to get the girls ready!!" Cora hisses and she can't help but bite her lip.
She crosses her arm across her chest and then nods.
"Of course!" Emma whispers and Regina stares. "What?"
"You seem off." Regina says looking closer at Emma.
"What is it you mean?"
"I'm not sure but I will find out." Regina glares then walks up the steps.
"Help them!" Cora snaps then follows her daughter.
He is actually searching for her?
A smile creeps across her face and she cleans once again.

His search begins the next day with him, Liam, Robin and some guards leaving.
The first home they go to, The girls are all brunettes and have blue eyes.
He gets them to try on the shoes anyways and none fit.
He sighs and they go off to the next home and the next.
All of them either not fitting or nothing like his Swan.
He begins loosing hope and it's not making this day any better.
"Kill! We'll find her and remember it's only the first day of searching." Robin says patting him on the shoulder as he sits on the curve.
He nods. Doesn't seem like it.
"How about we go to a tavern?" Liam suggests and everyone nods eagerly.
"Aye. Everyone deserves a break." Killian says as everyone cheers loudly.
This is going to go great hopefully.
When arrived at the tavern, they all find a spot in the corner. His men order them all rum from one of the waitresses.
Liam and Killian put their hood of their cloaks on so they aren't recognized as easily.
"I realized that all the homes we went to, all weren't royals or manors. Why?" Liam asks him in a whisper.
"Oh. I don't know. Tomorrow we will, aye?"
Liam nods and they continue drinking and enjoying each others company for a while.
