Chapter 13: rain falls

Droplets of water thunders against the window pane, sky darkened with grey clouds and not one speck of blue sky. She breaths out heavily as she sits on a bench next to the window in the library.
She was studying about magic and flying with no use at all of figuring out her powers. Tink suggests She tries something smaller, she did, didn't go too well. She couldn't flame one spark of magic within her. Every time she fails to no avail.
How is she suppose to defeat Regina? How?
A knock on the door sounds and she rushes over, opening it, Ariana smiles bright. Her eyes narrow at hr stepsister and her mouth stays in a firm straight line.
"What do you want?" Emma spits.
"Oh your mad.. Umm.. I'm sorry Emma. I am completely against my mother and sister.. They are cruel and rude. Oh yeah I'm so proud of you Emma!" She explains stumbling a little.
"How do I know they aren't spying on me through you!"
She sighs. "I mean no harm. I left the manor the day after you left and I overheard Cora, Regina and King George talking about how they want you gone but I'm against that." She says carefully. Emma nods along, processing what she is saying. "So I came to warn and be by your side against her."
"Are you serious right now?" Emma asks raising eyebrows.
"Yes Emma. As you know I never liked them and this decision is what brought me to the conclusion to go against them."
"Alright okay. So tell me what did you find out?" Emma asks leaning against the doorframe, crossing her arms in front of her chest.
"Regina and Cora were born with magic. Cora has known for a long time and has been secretly learning how to use it ever since she has been a child. Cora has been teaching Regina ever since the ball. Regina has grown stronger it's amazing and terrifying. The umm.." Ariana chokes.
"The dark one.." She whispers. "Has been helping her a lot. Since she is in such a deep hatred towards you they found King George and made an alliance with him so you can dissapear."
Emma's heart melts. She can't do anything and it frustrates her. They are two times more powerful and she is just a weak link. Ugghhhh. She thought her life was finally getting-- "but..The biggest weakness of Regina and Cora is they can't do anything without magic"
Emma's eye widen.
"What do you mean?!" Emma asks loudly. Killian comes running down the hall with Liam by his side, confusion on their faces.
"What's wrong?" Liam asks kindly.
"Nothing. Ariana wants to help us and she was telling me what Cora and Regina's biggest weakness is.." Emma says staring back and forth at the brunette and the two brothers.
"Yes I was. They can't handle themselves without magic. They are useless without it."
"Are you serious?! How do we fix it?!" Killian growls, Emma slips her hand into his and gives him a reassuring smile. He is adorable when mad.
"That's my problem I don't know.. All I know is that you need to find a magical spell or object that can conceal others power. Find someone who is able to fix this dilemma." She explains.
"I know who!!" Liam grins. Killian looks at him confused then his eye widen.
"No! We can't! I hate him and he hates me! Thankfully we were civil but he won't help us! Me!!" Killian whines.
"Who? Kill!" Emma asks aggressively shaking his arm.
"Rumpelstiltskin." Liam smirks. Who? Ugh so confused!!
"Who?" Questioned Ariana, just as confused as her.
"Well you know just the dark one." Killian says rolling his eyes even at the name. After he rolls one off his tongue, a black appeared and then fades away leaving a man with scaly skin and a creepy grin on his face.
"I heard my name!!" He giggles waving his hands in the air.
