The two supernatural entities sat in the Bentley, bored out of there minds.

The M25 was backed up, per usual.

"Hail the great beast, devourer of worlds," The humans chanted.

Crowley cursed under his breathe, glaring out at the other people.

Cars were then flung across the road.

"That's certainly a reminder," Aziraphale muttered, staring up at the causation of the blockage.

What was the causation?
A wall of fire, burning up from the demonic road Crowley had designed all those years ago.

"I don't think we're getting out of London," Aziraphale commented.

"Oh, yes, WE ARE," Crowley hissed, directing the Bentley to an empty lane.

"You're never getting out of this, Crowley," Hastur laughed from the backseat.

Aziraphale looked to Crowley with a slight look of concern. The serpent simply nodded, a mad grin spreading across his face.

"And what makes you think that?" Aziraphale questioned, glancing at the Duke of Hell.

"Are you thick? It's a wall of pure fire. You'll both get discorporated!" Hastur retorted.

"The great plan is ineffable," Aziraphale mentioned.

The Bentley slid into the wall of fire, seemingly unnoticed by anyone within it.

"YOU'RE INSANE!" Hastur screamed, "YOU'LL GET YOURSELVES KILLED!"

"I don't think either of us have much to live for, Hastur!" Crowley laughed.

The Duke of Hell continued to panic and scream before his body was burnt to a crisp.

Aziraphale closed his eyes and bowed his head.

After a moment, the former angel opened his eyes. The car was still traveling through the flames, yet the two seemed perfectly fine.

He stared at Crowley, then at the flames surrounding them.

The flames seemed oddly.. comforting. It reminded him of the bookshop, the formerly ignited bookshop.

Aziraphale looked down at himself.

He was different. Not just from looks and style, but he felt different. As he said earlier, he felt as free as a bird.

Aziraphale was no longer the Angel of the Eastern Gate. He was a Demon of the Candlelight's Flame.

Staring at the flames, he felt at home.

The demon laughed. It was the most joyous laughter he had let himself have, almost to the point where it sounded hysterical.

Crowley glanced at Aziraphale, continuing surging through the wall of fire.

Though unknowing of Aziraphale's reason for laughter, Crowley joined along. They were less clowns laughing in the dark, and more demons laughing in the flames.

The Bentley exited the flames after what felt like hours. A few police people stared in puzzlement as they saw the flaming car pass by them.

Crowley and Aziraphale waved at the policemen as they passed, grinning.

Silence finally fell over the demons as they grew closer to Tadfield.

"Where in Tadfield are we heading, exactly?" Crowley questioned.

"Tadfield airbase. Shouldn't be hard to spot," Aziraphale replied.
