Gabriel's head collapsed beside his feet. His entire body began to crumble along with his loose head. Soon all that was left was just the quiet breeze and a horrified silence. Even Beelzebub was shocked.
Aziraphale held the sword by his side, "Problem solved!" He chirped delightfully.
"You just discorporated Gabriel, the ARCHANGEL Gabriel," Crowley muttered.
"And?" Aziraphale said, "He doesn't have much authority over demons, plus he was quite bothersome."
"Who are you, exzzactly?" Beelzebub asked.
"Surprised you didn't recognize me, but it's Aziraphale," Aziraphale retorted, smirking.
"Angel of the Eastern Gate Aziraphale?" Beelzebub repeated.
"I suppose you could call me Demon of the Eastern Gate now, but.. I don't even know if there's an Eastern Gate in Hell," Aziraphale glanced to Crowley, "Is there?"
Crowley didn't respond. Aziraphale shrugged. He walked over to Adam, folding his hands and looking down at the Antichrist with a smile.
"Now," Aziraphale said, "I hope you have besteth wishes, Adam," He held up Adam's hand, patting it gently before walking back over to Crowley. "Come along, Serpent," Aziraphale exclaimed, brushing his hand against Crowley's as he went by.
Crowley rushed over to Aziraphale, blocking his stride out of the airbase.
"You didn't kill Gabriel, you discorporated him," Crowley hissed, "He could be back ANY MOMENT!"
Aziraphale laughed, "Yes, I'm aware, but if you knew Gabriel, you'd know that hasn't been discorporated in... what has it been? Well, at least a millennium."
"Mhm, yes, and?" Crowley said.
"...Well, I'd hate to quote myself but, "You can't kill me, there'll be paperwork!" And in Gabriel's case, there'll probably be at least an hour's worth of it," Aziraphale explained, "Now, come along!" Aziraphale smiled, grabbing Crowley's hand and walking out of the airbase with him.
Beelzebub stared as the two skipped off, glancing back at the Them after a moment.
"Hell's going to be so disappointed," Beelzebub muttered, "You all, leave, and forget any of this ever happened!" The demon then disappeared into the ground in a flurry of fire.
The Them looked to each other in utter silence.
"We should get back home," Adam finally said. The rest of the Them nodded.
