I'm In love With The Genie

Chapter 10

Surprisingly, Sunghoon woke up with a good feeling today despite the mysterious appearance of Sunoo the genie. Taking a bath, he couldn't help but to think if Sunoo's really real or not. But one thing for sure is that he's really looking forward for today.

After he's done with everything, he immediately and excitedly goes to school. But before that, he makes a trip to a pastry shop to buy a cake.

Once inside to the pastry shop, the staff immediately recognized Sunghoon. "Sir, welcome back. You wanna buy carrot cakes? Well, we have a lot of stock for you." The staff spoke.

Sunghoon recalled how he bought so many carrot cakes for his ex with the same pastry shop he's standing right now. He couldn't help but feel a little disgust from it. "I swear, I would buy this shop and get rid that damn carrot cake so that my ex couldn't eat it anymore." Sunghoon thought.

"I like something different today. Perhaps a strawberry cake?" Sunghoon replied.

"Strawberry cake it is." The staff nodded in response and went to pack a one strawberry cake.

After Sunghoon received the cake, he went to the school. When he got to his classroom, there was a handful of students already busy chatting with each other. Sunghoon immediately went excited the thought that Sunoo the genie would grant his wish today.

So he started to wait around 5 minutes until Jungwon and his friend Mariah came in from the door and walks to sit left beside Sunghoon. Shockingly, Jungwon just timidly smiled at him and went to sit left beside him right after that.

"Is this Sunoo the genie making a joke on me? What the hell just happened. I thought Jungwon is now in love with me. That was all a lie, I shouldn't have made myself believe that he's true and my wish is coming true." Sunghoon thought dejectedly

Now he decided to place the strawberry cake in front of his arm chair. Storing it in the bag will only destroy it. He now feels sad that it made his hopes up and look where he got right now.

After a series of waiting, the professor eventually came in. "Good morning students, today is a great day because I have two new good things to say to all of you." The professor spoke.

Sunghoon just lowered his head and proceeds to sleep cowering in the arm chair. He doesn't want to hear anything nor has the motivation to work today.

"One is, the quiz will be cancelled due to various reasons but to make up for the lost points. You will all read and discuss by pair about what you think of "Dystopian", Second, we have a new transferee student from Philippines. You may come in" The professor spoke.

Sunghoon is still not interested who the transferee is and kept his head on his arm chair. While, A young man with great body proportion, with a rosy fair skin that dazzles, pink plump lips, and a foxy-eyed decided to come inside the classroom and introduce himself.

"Morning everyone, I'm Kim Sunoo. I hope to be part of the class starting today. Wishing all of you to take good care of me and help me with the things I don't know." Sunoo introduced himself while smiling. Earning him everyone's attention especially Sunghoon.

The moment Sunghoon heard the name Sunoo, he immediately raised his head to look at the transferee. He is beyond shock as to why this genie or this guy specifically standing in the same class as him.

"Fuck, what the fuck is happening! How the hell did he manage to be in this class? Is he really serious?" Sunghoon thought. As everyone's attention fixated on Sunoo, so many questions running circles on Sunghoon's mind. He still can't process this massive information.

"Is that person really the genie? Or I'm just making delusions? I can't really tell because I only saw his face vaguely." Sunghoon feared that he will embarrass himself asking the transferee if he's really the genie.

"Where should I sit?" Sunoo asked the professor.

"Ah, you'll be sitting beside Mr.Park at the back and you'll be paired together for today's discussion about Dystopian." The professor replied.

Sunoo thanked the professor and walks towards Sunghoon while making an eye serious contact. Every step Sunoo makes is enough to make all of the students admire him. He's literally shining.

Not even right after he started to go at the back, a guy suddenly stands and walks up to Sunoo. "Hi, I'm Dwayne. Can I get your number." Dwayne asked for Sunoo's number which earn him "Oohhh's" around the classroom. Almost everyone teased Sunoo.

"I would love to but I don't have a number but I'll tell you eventually." Sunoo politely declined Dwayne.

Sunoo went to sit Sunghoon's side without speaking any words. On the other hand, Sunghoon is now sweating profusely because he's still doesn't know if the person right beside him is the genie or if he's really a normal person. But the thought still worries him that the transferee student has the same features as the genie he saw yesterday.

"Psst, Sunghoon. Look at me. What the fuck are you sweating for." Sunoo spoke whisperingly.

That moment Sunghoon knew that this person is really the genie. Sunghoon came to his senses and faces Sunoo. He couldn't help but to admire Sunoo's face because this is literally a favored visual face.

"Hey, stop daydreaming." Sunoo said.

"What the fuck are you doing here? I'm sweating because I thought you are not the genie and I might look crazy for asking someone if they are." Sunghoon replied.

"Huh?" Sunoo said.

"Anyway, my wish didn't came true. What the hell happened? Plus, why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be at the ruby ring?" Sunghoon asked.

"Okay, this might be confusing for you but i'll gladly explain but first, I'll eat that strawberry cake." Sunoo grabs the cake immediately.

"That is not for you. That is for Jungwon. Please explain?" Sunghoon said.

"Can you shut the fuck up first, let me eat this magnificent strawberry cake in peace first and I'll answer your questions right after." Sunoo replied.

Sunghoon sighed defeatedly and nodded in response. "If only you aren't an attractive piece of genie, I would've smacked your right now." Sunghoon thought that Sunoo has bad temper.

Not more than 5 minutes, the whole cake is now gone eaten by Sunoo. "Okay, now explain." Sunghoon said.

"The fuck are you demanding about, I still haven't drink water. I'm choking. Give me water." Sunoo demanded.

Sunghoon wanted to scream right now, it seems like he isn't fond of Sunoo's temperament. Sunoo's face is literally the opposite of his attitude. Sunghoon is literally known as good, you will never catch him swearing or if you do, it's on you stressing him bad.

Sunghoon doesn't have any water on his backpack and he refused to buy outside. Leaving him with a grumpy Sunoo. But then, a guy came up to Sunoo.

"I'm Von, I just accidentally heard that you want water, if you want you can take this." Von handed the water to Sunoo. The young guy accepted the water and thanked Von for it.

"Thank you Von, you're my friend now." Sunoo said and smacked his lips together to tease Von which earned him a blush from the guy. Von then gets back to his seat.

Sunoo decided to drink the water. A fair amount of liquids dripped down to Sunoo's mouth on the way to his neck. Sunghoon gulped down staring at the scene in front of him. He didn't expect that he would feel hot and excited staring at the genie.
