V-Kat One Shots

V-Kat 41: Closing our story

V sitting in the garden alone while Kat is asleep but Kat woke up and V is nowhere to find. She explore the whole house just to find Victoria and saw her sitting on a bench looking at the sky.

"V? what are you doing here? it's midnight already, di ka pa ba matutulog?" -K

*Didn't respond* -V

Kat sat besides V and started caressing V's hair. V isn't blinking for 5 minutes long and remain silent until..

"Are you ok?" -K

"Why are you still awake?" -V

V didn't removed her eyes in the sky but asked some questions to Kat.

"Well i.. was about to hug you but you're not beside me" -K

"Sorry" -V

"I-it's fine but what are you doing here? it's cold and—" -K

Kat didn't get to finish what she's saying because V suddenly speaks.

"Would you still accept me if I tell you my deepest secret?" -V

"Of course I would but why is that" -K

"Well.." -V

"Well..?" -K

"I'm.. inlove with someone else already." -V

"What..." -K

"Before I met you, I'm already inlove with him but I choose you because I thought I'll be happy with you" -V

Kat didn't get to respond and removed her hand to V then stood up trying not to cry.

"Does that mean, kinulang ako..?" -K

"No.. sumobra ka Kat but hindi ko nahanap kasiyahan ko sayo." -V

"Well if you're happy with him then I'm willing to let you go" -K

"I'm sorry" -V

V looked at Kat while holding her tears. V loved Kat so much but she wants the guy more.

"Are you sure about that.." -K

"Yes..." -V

"I really thought I already found the one haha" -K

"I know someone will replace me but much better than me and I know they can give you the happiness that you've always wanted" -V

"Kahit wag na, I need to find myself first but I'll never love again" -K

"N-no, you'll find someone, just trust me" -V

"Trust? sige nga V, diba you told me before that i should trust you whatever it happens and ano na nangyari ngayon? you broke my trust" -K

"I'm really sorry Kat please forgive me" -V

"You did nothing wrong, and it's also my fault for trusting you so I should face the pain I caused and move on." -K

"I wish I can give you the happiness that you've always wanted" -V

"And before you promise something, make sure you'll do it because ayoko umasa V. I hope you know that" -K

V burst into tears and regretted all the pain she caused to Kat. She could've keep it to herself but atleast Kat already knows that V is still inlove with the guy he met before.

"You know that I'm always willing to let go" -K

"Can you?" -V

"I mean, I can even though it's hard to let go a person just like you" -K

"You said you love me then why would you let me go" -V

"I do love you but mas mahal mo siya kaysa sakin and I don't have a choice than letting you go" -K

V wiped her tears as she was standing up. She smiled at Kat and thanked her for everything.

"The sunset is beautiful isn't it, Kat?" -V

"It is, hope you find your happiness again" -K

"But you're my happiness" -V

"I might be you're happiness but you'll find your actual happiness in him once you are together" -K

*Started crying again* -V

"I know you'll shine again but this time, with your moon" -K

"How about you?" -V

"I'll just be one of the stars in the sky watching you both shine" -K

"You're the best" -V

"Hahaha I know, pano na yan? are you ready to let go?" -K

"Yes, my star" -V

"If that so; you're now free, my sun" -K

"Don't forget to shine again as I shine with another moon" -V

"I will, goodbye Victoria" -K

"Good bye" -V

They both hugged each other then Victoria left Kat in the garden. Kat couldn't accept the fact that Victoria is inlove with Kat's  bestfriend from college. They maintain eye contact before V actually left.
