V-Kat 38: Breakfast

Kat's POV:

While I was having a good sleep. V is gently waking me up so that I can eat breakfast.

"Kat wake up~" -V

"Hmmm good morning" -K

"Good morning, your breakfast is ready" -V

"Did you eat already?" -K

"Yes I did, ikaw nalang inaantay ko" -V

"I'm still lazy" -K

"Do you want me to bring your food here and feed you?" -V

"Yes please" -K

"Sure, wait for me" -V

She kissed me in the forehead and stood up to get my food. While I was waiting, I looked around confused because our room is blurry. I think it's because of my eyes? nah whatever.

She came back carrying my food and sat beside me.

"Oh eto, pancakes and eggs with rice" -V

"You know what I love" -K

"It's me obviously duh" -V

"Hahaha yes, where's my favorite syrup?" -K

"Why would I forget that, it's here oh" -V

"Yayy" -K

"You're like a kid" -V

"Correction, it's baby, your baby" -K

"Ok my baby" -V

"Thank you for this by the way" -K

"No problem but, can I tell you something?" -V

"What is it?" -K

"They're calling me" -V

"Who's calling you? wala naman ako naririnig" -K

"Can you take care of yourself? make a promise that you'll be strong kapag wala na ako sa tabi mo" -V

"Hindi ka naman mawawala sa tabi ko and you promised that we will be together forever" -K

"I don't think I can do that" -V

"Why?" -K

"Basta, this is the only promise that I can fulfill" -V

"Ano yun?" -K

"You'll never see me anymore but I'll make sure that you'll be safe because I'm always here to guide you" -V

"What do you mean I'll never see you anymore? iiwanan mo na ako?" -K

"I wish I can stay but hindi ko na kaya Kat, my job here is done" -V

"Kung aalis ka, sasama ako" -K

"Kat no please, makinig ka nalang, it's for your own good din naman" -V

"Don't leave please.." -K

"Sorry Kat, goodbye" -V

I woke up and I saw Steffi hugging me. I looked so confused because V isn't there.

"KAT! YOU'RE AWAKE!" -Steffi

"Why did you hugged me anyways" -K

"Nananaginip ka nanaman about kay V" -Steffi

"Iyak ka ng iyak and hindi ka magising gising" -Bea

"We really thought you were dead" -Mau

"Asan si V?" -K

No one answered me and they just look at each other. I tried looking for V in my room but she isn't here.

"Kat stop, she's gone already" -Steffi

"Si V? Steffi I'm not joking, we we're both talking to each other, umalis ba sya?" -K

"We're not joking too, how many times should we tell you that she's gone for 2 years now" -Mau

"I swear, dinalhan nya pa nga ako ng pagkain and-" -K

I suddenly remembered what V said in my dreams. I burst into tears and collapsed.

"Wala na sya.." -K said while crying

"I'm sorry Kat, please mag move on kana" -Bea

"She promised diba? you guys heard it? she said she'll be there to support me" -K

"Di nya na kinaya noon ni V that's why she gave up." -Steffi

"She promised.. I know she did.." -K

I ended up crying in the floor while the girls are trying to comfort me. At this point, I want to fullfil her last dying wish. Which is taking care of myself. If I only knew that she'll be gone, I wish I gave her all the things she wanted before she left the earth. In another life, V.
