Time: 9am

Sashaying into the school clinic khadijah sigh and throw her backpack on the bed.

"So on Monday exam." Khadija say tiredly as nafisah sigh.

"Abun sai addu'a
I honestly don't understand a lot of things this semester." Nafisah say and jidderh sigh.

"We will pass,
We always do regardless,
Isn't that Mr Khalid with your fiance." Jidderh ask pointing through the window as the girls peek through except for khadija who's laying on the bed.

"Yes,
He's the one,
Nasir told me he's coming this morning." Nafisah say staring at the window.

"Uhmmm I don't know if i  am the only one that notice but this morning i greeted Mr Khalid he didn't answer,
I was wondering koh he heard our conversation yesterday." Jidderh say and nafisah turn her gaze back to her friends.

"Even i to greeted him but he didn't answer, maybe he heard." Aisha say and khadija hiss.

"And so what?
Why do you even greet him in the first place,
Wlh i have never hate any staff in this school like him,
The man is just full of himself,
Wani shegen iyayi.
Let him hear who cares." Khadija say upset and her friends all give her a confuse look.

"Khadija you are the one that isn't right in all this,
I don't understand why you just hate this man it's not even up to 2days since you know him but you just hate him for no reason an............

" nafisah i didn't ask for your opinion,
Just because this stupid man is nasir friend doesn't mean i can't say things about him,
He's an idiot."khadija say interrupting nafisah who shake her head.

"Haaa i do hope he didn't hear oo,
I honestly don't want problem,
Jejely graduate and leave abeg,
Khadija you to what did this man do to you,
Just like that you hate the man,
Now he will just conclude it's all of us."jidderh say and khadija hiss.

" toh sai kuje Ku fada mai cewa ni kadai na tsaneshi."
Khadija say and sit upright.

"I am going back to class." Khadijah announce and stand up.

"So we shouldn't tell you the truth,
Abeg khadija sometimes you are annoying, this man won't even teach us, after this semester you will have nothing to do with this school,
Beside nasir told me he's here for just two month on something that's why the school temporarily retain him." Nafisah say and khadija snort.

"Are you girls going to the class or not?" She ask and all the girls shake there head.

Khadija exit the school clinic muttering to herself as she grumble about how her friends can be too afraid of unreasonable things that doesn't matter.

Khalid hate when people speak badly about him especially knowing very well he did nothing wrong to offend them, he respect everyone and expect that in return, hearing the girls discussing badly about him just make him generate this intense hatred towards them, except for his bestfriend fiance who he heard her defending him, sure nasir and him grew up together but they both go there separate ways after secondary school.

"When is the wedding?" Khalid ask as they walk down the third floor of the building.

"2months time nafisah want to write her national board professional examination first, I am desperate dude tired of single life." Nasir say and Khalid node.

"Allah ya kaimu,
How is business moving?" Khalid ask and nasir node.

"Good not great,
Alhamdulilah in general." He say as his phone start ringing.

"Sorry i have to pick this." Nasir say and Khalid node as he continue walking down the stairs scrolling through his phone and he collide into someone.

"Ke are you blind?" He say instantly getting upset at the familiar face.

She grab the phone from the floor and hand it to him but he is just staring at her and she let go of the phone making it to fall back on the floor as Khalid glance at the floor then back to her.

"I still don't understand how someone as rude as you are get an admission to study in this institution and under nursing, you don't have a single characteristic of a nurse." Khalid say and khadijah stare at him for some time then shake her head.

"Sir with due respect i won't accept you disrespecting me that way."khadija say and Khalid fold his hands to his chest as he glance at his phone that's still on the floor.

" I'm suprise you know the word respect, I thought that didn't exist in your own dictionary and probably life,
You know what?
At first you seem like a pretty nice girl and then if someone speak to you only then will they realise you are not worth speaking with,
You don't manner and it's extremely very wrong especially for a lady." Khalid say truthfully and khadija chuckle.

"Mr Khalid,
You don't have any right to meddle with my life or how i behave,
Whatever it is that happened between us i apologize and if you aren't satisfy then that's your own problem to deal with." Khadija say starunga t him and Khalid take a deep breathe.

"OK,
We shall see......

" Aunty khadija."nasir voice call interrupting the two and khadija turn with a smile.

"Nasir,
How are you doing?" Khadija say with a smile as Khalid stare at her, she look like an entire different person.

"I'm fine,
I called you yesterday to report nafisah to you." Nasir say and khadija chuckle.

"We will talk later nasir,
I have class now." Khadija say and nasir node as she walk down the stairs taking the left turn that lead to her class room.

Khalid avert his gaze to the floor and pick his broken phone with a deep breathe.

"She's a nice girl." Nasir say and Khalid shake his head.

"She's not my type,
Look what she did to my phone." Khalid say and slip the phone inside his jeans pocket.

"It's probably an accident,
Believe me khadija is a gem,
Without her i would still be single by now." Nasir say as they continue the walk down the stairs.

The two men walk to the school premises and both go there seperate ways.
