chapter 12

Third person pov

As soon as everyone was allowed to start Eric's hand started moving and he began scribbling on his answer sheet.

Edward started twirling his pencil in his fingers.

Blake just started rolling multiple joints to calm himself down.

Brody just sat there crying with both hands pressing against the sides of his head. He was internally screaming at the question paper before him.

"How the fuck are we suppose to answer these" muttered Brody under his breathe.

"Oh and I forgot to mention that if you   answer one of the questions you will automatically be failed even if the others are correct" Six says.

"Ahhh fuck my life" Brody mentally screams after hearing what six said.

Eric just continues scribbling until he arrives at the final question.

"Uhh Sir. Why is question ten?" He says after raising his hand to speak.

"Question ten won't be revealed until the last ten minutes" Six answers. "Also if you fail to get it right despite all the others being correct you will automatically fail so think carefully" six says before sitting down.

"Oh fuck, thinking's the one thing I can't do right" Brody says as he slowly begins to pick up his pencil.

Brody takes a look at question one and immediately skips.

"Hmmm...question two seem easy" Brody says.

"Relate your answer to question one's" Brody reads. "Nope" he says skipping to question three.

"Base your answer off question two's and give us a reason why you think it's correct" Brody reads. "Who the fuck designed this fucking paper" Brody says out loud.

Brody continues on skipping questions until he comes to question ten.

" *Clears throat* since this is the last ten minutes of the first exam I would like to inform you that this decision will remain with you for the rest of your life. So if you would like to play it safe and quit now you may do so" Six says. "Just remember if you don't play it safe now and give up you will fail" he says.

"Okay I'm out, I'm sorry guys but I can't risk my future over something I don't know" one boy says as he gets up to leave.

"Yeah me too" a few others say getting up to leave with him.

A few minutes pass by and even more people are leaving. The whole room is filled with anxiousness as everyone awaits the last question. Blake is the only one who remains calm and relaxed, mostly due to him being high.

Eric awaits cautiously while Edward just starts twirling his pencil faster.

Just as Six is about to give out the final question a hand goes up.

" *Breath in* *breath out* you know what screw this test and screw this final question also, Im Brody Jackson and I will ace this stupid test" Brody says slamming his hand hard against the desk.

Everyone's anxiety immediately vanishes after Brody's out burst.

"So is everyone here sure they want to go through with this" Six says one more time before giving out the question.

Everyone just remains silent with smiles and smirks on there faces.

"Then without further a do......the final question.....has been answered" Six says.

"Huh!" All the students in the room say.

"How sir?" Eric asks just as surprised as everyone else.

"Well you see the final question was necessarily a question but more of a choice" Six says.

"Which was?" Blake asks high as fuck.

"Whether you were brave enough to take the risk. You see in life you get choices that require you to take that leap of faith and in order to do that you need confidence. This stage was designed exactly to test that quality" Six says.

"Yep yep and I knew that" Brody says arrogantly.

"That stupid idiot" Robin mutters under her breathe.

"Yes Brody, so congratulations on making it this far you all" Six says before dissing them and waking out.

After that everyone gets up and starts walking to the next exam venue which is a huge arena filled with trees, rivers and a rocky area.

As soon as everyone left Six returns to collect the answer sheets and stops when he looks at Brody and Blake's.

"I just let two idiots who didn't answer a single question pass" he says before continuing to collect the other answer sheets.

"So whats the second stage going to be like?" Blake asks.

"I pray it's anything else but a maths test" Brody says putting his hands together to pray.

"Relax bro it's a teamwork exercise" Edward says before Six walks into the room.

"Welcome to the second stage of this exam" Six says as everyone gathers Infront of him.

"For this exercise you will be put into teams of four to see how well you all can handle under pressure and how good your teamwork is with your partner's. This exercise is simple. All you will need to do is reach the end of the course without being hit or knocked out by our battle bots. Failure to do so results in.... failure. Good luck students" Six says before the first team steps up onto the course.

"Uh-Oh" Eric says realizing something.

"What do you mean Uh-Oh?" Edwards asks scared.

"Now's not the time to be pussies" Blake says lighting a joint.

"Its never a good thing if you say it" Brody says becoming scared for him life.

"Speak up!" Edwards shouts at Eric.

"I might've....sort've....could've....helped design those battle bots" Eric says slowly.

"What!" The other three shout surprised.

"Hold up" Blake says.

"We are totally screwed" Brody says kneeling down beginning to pray.

"Okay so you made them so they must have a weakness right?" Edward says looking for solutions.

"They actually don't. I designed them to be the best" Eric says.

"Dear father God I know I have been bad but do I really deserve this type of punishment. First it was the stupid math test now this hell. Don't you love me enough to forgive me father God" Brody saying pleading for his life.

"With all the shit you've caused I'll be surprised he will even listen to your pray" Blake says.

Just as Brody is about to say something the first team comes steps out of course covered in cuts and bruises, some even have bullet holes in there clothes.

"We next guys" Edward says stepping forward.

"Oh god" Brody and Blake say in union.

"Let's go guys" Eric says throwing his arms over there shoulders pushing them forward.
