Reincarnated as Rimuru

Chapter 2

Travelling out of the cave I got [water movement] after swimming and shooting out water I got [water blade] and then

Great sage: /The acquired skills [water pressure propulsion], [water movement] and [water blade] have been combined into the extra skill [water manipulation]/

I ran into a bunch of monsters that I tried out my new skills, it went like this:

Black serpent appeared

Me: "Water bade"

Rimuru used water blade and it was super affective

After that I ate their corpses and gained there skills, from all that I can now talk, breath poison have armor...

And after a bunch of pokemon battles with the local residence of the cave I reached the entrance

Me: "Do I just break it open or-" I suddenly got a genius idea, so I get in front of the gate point out two tentacle hands and shout "open sesami (for those who get the reference is that how it is spelled?)"

The gate opens

Me: "Your a wizard Rimuru" until I sense there are humans outside the gate and quickly hide before they notice me 

Human1: "Finally got the thing open" one guy said

Human2: "What did you expect this place hasn't been open for 300 years" the second guy said

Human3: "We should still be careful" the girl said

Me: *How can I understand them?* was my thought

Great sage: /Through the extra skill [magic sense]/

Me: /Oh thanks, I did not want to have to learn another language/

The humans went invisible but I could see there footsteps. When they went away I exited the cave and found myself in a beautiful forest

Me: *I'm guessing humans don't live anywhere around here since it looks so untouched* I thought

I didn't know where to go so I just hopped through the forest in a random direction, until...

Goblins appeared 

Me: *And the pokemon battles continue* just as I was getting a water blade ready I noticed something *They don't look threatening and aren't trying to attack...maybe-*

Goblin: "Strong one do you have some business out here in the forest"

Me: *He's talking to me right? They have me outnumbered but they know that I'm stronger and look scared, they might be weak but I'm just a slime so how...? can they sense it somehow?* well never mind "Umm no not really, why?"

Goblin: "Well we sensed a powerful monster so we came to investigate, but we would like to ask you a favor"

Me: *Knew they could sense it* "Alright, what is it?"

Goblin: "If you'll excuse my rudeness if you could come to our village so our village chief could explain the situation, please"

Me: *I don't know where I'm going and don't have anything better to do so* "Alright, take me to your village" I say

They look relived and happy when I say that, is the situation that bad. We travel for a couple minutes until we get to their village, but village is a bit of a stretch

Old goblin: "Thank you for coming to our village, it's an honor to have you here, I am the elder of this village"

Me: "Hello, nice to meet you, so what do you need from me"

Elder: "Well you see our god that has always been protecting us has recently disappeared, ever since stronger monsters have been moving into the forest"

Me: *Sounds like Veldora... wait wouldn't that mean it's my fault* I gulp

Elder: "We've tried to fend them off our selves, but we lack the numbers"

Goblin: "So that's why when we sensed a powerful monster we came to ask for help"

Me: *What does he mean by sense... wait* /Great sage show me how I look with magic sense/

Great sage: /Changing perspective/

Me: *Ohh shi-* I quickly suck in my aura "Impressive that you noticed"

Elder: "But of course, there's no way we couldn't notice that aura around you"

Me: "W-well keep talking about the favor you wanted to ask" I try to change the subject

Elder: "Ah yes, we have been attacked by dire wolfs, it takes 10 of us to beat 1 of them, theres 100 of them but including women only 60 of us can fight, my son died getting us this information" his voice turned shaky at he end there

Me: *Sucks to be you* I almost say but realize that would be really shitty of me to say considering so may of them died for something that's my fault "If I decide to help you what can you give me in return" I don't want to make it to obvious that i want to help them

 They look at each other and nod

Elder: "The only thing we have to offer is our loyalty, we swear that if you help us we will serve you for the rest of our lives" they bow down, and all the goblins that were listening in from outside also bow down

Me: "Alright I accept, I shall protect you" they cheer in joy

There's howling in the distance and the goblins freak out

Me: "Everyone calm down" they calm down and listen to what I'm saying "Let's get ready"

Night quickly came, in the mean time I healed all the injured goblins 

I'm standing in front of the village, waiting, when I see a bunch of wolfs running towards the village, but stop when they notice me

Me: "Turn back now and I'll spare your lives" I say confidently but inside I'm freaking out

Alfa wolf: "A mere slime dares to stand in our way! Attack"

Wolfs run towards the village, but before they can make it they get cut up 

Alfa wolf: "What!?"

Me: "That's [steel thread]"

The alfa wolf growls and starts charging at me,  cutting along all of me traps, but when he jumps at me get's stuck in my [sticky thread]

Alfa wolf: "This won't sto-" before he can finish I use water blade and cut his head off 

The other wolfs seem scared now, just one push, I consume the corpse of the alfa and turn into a wolf

Me: "Your leader has fallen, you can now submit or die" I shout out and howl

They start getting closer and I'm freaking out so I use [Menace] to scare them off, but they keep coming... until they bow down and say

Wolfs: "We yield our pack will now serve you" strangely synchronised

Me: "Alright then" kinda awkward "Let's go back to the village

With that the battle was settled
