Ellie's POV
"SO KISS ME WHERE I LAY DOWN, MY HANDS PRESSED TO YOUR CHEEKS" I sung the lyrics to 1D's 18. Well, I say sung but a better explanation would be shouting words in time to the music. My phone started having a fitt on my bed side counter. Who dare interrupt me and think they can get away with it? Unless Liam Payne suddenly had an attraction to me then I would be okay with that.
I picked up my phone, selecting messages and seeing my text. From 'Hollyboo'. And I got my hopes up thinking Liam had tweeted me or something!

I got a text back as soon as I sent it.

I looked down to see what I was wearing - my Christmas PJ bottoms and my 'I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR' T-shirt. I really should change but I can't be bothered, so I unpaused my Spotify and carried on shouting to my One Direction playlist.

"DO YOU REMEMBER SUMMER '09? WANNA GO BACK THERE EVERY NIGHT. YOU WERE MINE AND WE NEVER SAID GOODBYE." Me and Holly belted the lyrics to rock me, again, by One Direction. Except this time I was in my pool.
"Ohmygod, Ellie I completely forgot to tell you!" Holly suddenly looked concerned. I grabbed the controller for my speaker and turned it down.
"Tell me...what?" I asked, suddenly eager to hear what Holly had to say.
"There was this guy...I think his name was-"
"Marcus?" I guessed.
"How did you know?! He came up to me yesterday whilst I was at the park with Luke and asked if I knew you. I said 'Yea, Ellie's my best friend, why?' He asked me to tell you to stop getting him fired from his jobs..?"
"Urg he's such a creep" I shivered.
"A cute creep" Holly winked at me. She reached into her bag at the side of the pool and handed me a note.

I took the note and ripped it in half, and in half again, and again and - you get the point. By the time I was done with it it was near invisible to the eye.
"Okay so you don't like him. Why?" She asked. And so I began telling her the story.

OHMYGOD guys I am so so sorry I haven't updated in months! And I knknhow annoying it is when others don't update for ever and I can't apologise enough. How is everyone? It shouldn't be long now until Marcus and Ellie become friends.
