Stacey has been distant with me lately. I don't understand it but I think I'm going to talk to her about it. I begin dialing the numbers and put the phone up to my ear and I can feel my heart start to race at a more slightly rapid pace. "I'm sorry the person you are trying to reach is unavailable at the tone please record your message." I throw it on my phone and sigh. "Mom I'm going out" I yell loud enough so she can hear. I walk faster hoping she's going to be home. Once I reach her house I slowly knock on the door. I can hear the footsteps and I hear the door open and I meet her eyes "oh hey" she closed the door and stepped outside. "Hey can we talk?" I say but inside. I was nervous and unsure of what she would say. She nods her head "want to come in it's cold out?" She asks I agree and we head to her bedroom I sit on her bed next to her we stare at each other for a moment until "what happened was-" she cut me off smashing her lips into mine I was taken aback by it but I kissed back lightly cupping her cheek her hand tangled in my hair neither of us wanting to pull away ding. We both jump back "oh it's my mom.." seriously why couldn't she wait just 2 more minutes! "Can I sleepover?" I ask nervously "of course" she smiles I text my mom back letting her know where I was. Stacey let me borrow a pair of her pajamas "Stacey?" I turn my head and look into her eyes "yeah kris?" I took a quick deep breath in "will you be my girlfriend?" My heart beat quickens feeling like it's going to explode she looks back at me.
