Prologue

Right after we recovered from the light, the sphere of fire was nowhere to be seen.

Mizu: Is everyone okay!?

We all nodded.

Then all of a sudden, Nicole started breathing normally again, and the wound that could have ended her was...gone...although the bloodstain still remained in her shirt.

Nicole: W-what happened, where am I now. I-

She tried to get herself up but failed from the pain.

Blaze: Shh. Be careful now, you were injured.

Cinder: But how does that explain the fact that you look totally fine.

Then afterward, they all looked at me.

Nathan: H-hey now, It's not like I have any idea what just happened. Like how she is still alive right now.

Blake: But what about your wing.

Now that she mentioned it, I looked back at my left wing and noticed that it only shows the skeleton of it.

Nathan: In fact, how is this not falling apart? Oh well.

Danny: Now that's out of the way. What do we do now?

Nathan: Oh hey dad.

Nicole: Dad?

Nathan: Ah yes, this is Danny Durke the new founding father of the second-best military in Remnant...and what I just said a while ago, he's also my dad. Why do you ask?

Nicole: Then...does that make you my...brother?

I and everyone in the room were beyond shocked by what she just said. I mean she does have a point seeing the similarities between us from head to toe.

Nathan: Dad...did you have any idea of this?

Danny: When I first saw her during the investigation, I had thought to myself "Why does she look very similar to him." It's not like I had any affairs with others-... never mind. I did have my suspicions at the time..

Nathan: *sigh* It's not like I was mad or whatever. Anyway...It's good to see you...sister.

Nicole: Likewise.

Blaze: So...are we just gonna sit here while you three have your "reunion", or are you gonna tell us about this vortex.

Franz: Vortex...What's going on?

Nathan: *groan* did you really have to Blaze? *sigh*.

Even if the other three were nearby, might as well tell them about the upcoming crisis.
