Prologue part 2: The Fall of Iosurial

Location: Blackburn Kingdom, Iosurial

When we came here, we immediately noticed the dense atmosphere around us.

Nathan: That's strange.

Mizu: Were straight in the kingdom. but it's...oh my god...what the hell happened here.

Everything around us was ruined...as if this kingdom was...raided...but why would they do that to a kingdom.

Nathan: But are we gonna state the fact that we can just about see the vortex from here.

Allen: Let's check the map guys.

We brought it out and once we opened it, the vortex was already halfway through its journey. It's pretty much destroyed Norfolk Harbor.

Allen: That's not good.

Nathan: Wait guys, check your gear.

We did and unsurprisingly, they don't work. we tried calling but to no avail, we could only contact each other.

Mizu: *groans* Well, there goes our only source of communication to the other side.

Unfortunately, when we tried to head back, the portal had already disappeared.

Allen: Let's-

He was cut off as Balthasar came rushing to us.

Allen: What's the rush dad?

-Balthasar-: You shouldn't have come here!

Mizu: Yes and we are also aware of this. Thought you all could use some help.

-Balthasar-: *sigh* *chuckles* You kids really are just a bunch of idiots. Alright then, hurry up...inside the castle.

In the Castle.

Allen: So, What do we need to do?

-Balthasar-: There's nothing we can do... we're too late.

Mizu: Huh, what do you mean. We still ha-

-Balthasar-: You kids have no idea what that thing really is.

We all looked at him confused.

-Balthasar-: That thing all the way there, is a fragment.

All: Fragment?

Allen: Is there something your not telli- Ugh!

He clenches his head in pain

Nathan: Allen! what's wrong?

Allen: *hiss* I...I remember something about this fragment you speak.

Mizu: Huh?

Allen: There is a primal within this world that goes by the name "The Dreary". this beast is unlike another primal named the "Winged Abyss" who is like their god and creator here.

-Balthasar-: ...and...as you can expect, The Dreary is the God of Desolation in this world.

Nathan: I see, so that "fragment" over there, is part of The Dreary.

Mizu: Who could be the one pulling the strings and why?

-Balthasar-: Those are questions we have yet answered.

Allen: Anyway, we should...

Just then, we felt the atmosphere getting denser, and the winds are becoming stronger and stronger by the minute. chunks of land were starting to lift off from the ground and started to circle around the vortex.

Then, the chunks that were circling the vortex suddenly came down back to the earth but this time they were glowing and emitting a black and dark teal light around them.

Nathan: What the...

Just then, a portal appeared right behind us.

Allen: Dad, what are you-

-Balthasar-: Just get in. We don't have much time.

Allen: B-but-

-Balthasar-: Please...my son. This...is a crisis we can't emerge victorious from. We can only retreat somewhere else. Please...these are the king's orders.

Mizu: What about you?

-Balthasar-: We'll see you on the other side...

Allen: Don't-

But it was too late. He pushed all three of us into the portal.

"...my son. We will meet again soon."

Allen's POV

I can't believe my dad would just push us in. Everything was pitch black.

Allen: Uh, guys. Are you there?

Mizu: Even if I can't see, I can hear you.

Nathan: Indeed, where are we though.

Ever since we were pushed in, I have no idea where we're going. Just then we all see a dot of light in the distance gradually getting bigger by the second.

Allen: Wh-what is that?!

Before one of them was gonna give them an answer, the light engulfed our visions.

Location: ???

3rd Person POV

Both Balthasar and Ceasar are seen watching over in the distance.

"I hope they are safe after what i just did to them."

Ceasar: I'm positive they'll be fine.
