You Can Sing?

Lay gently puts me down on the floor. " So what happened?" He asks. My eyes follow him as he sits down next to me. Should I tell him that I was tripped over, or that I tripped over and did this to myself? I look at his concerned face... I think I should tell him the truth. "I was tripped over by a girl" I say quietly.

"Who was it?" he calmly asks. I simply look at him. Jae Soo and Hyeri I internally scream in my head.
"Um...It's hard to remember people's names. I don't think they told me" I lied. I just lied to Lay...
Lay immediately narrows his eyes at me. I quickly look away. "Are you sure?" he asks like he knows something. I feel my face going warm. He chuckles.

I know you're lying-Lay's thoughts.

"Okay-" I begin, but a high pitched yelp escapes my lips before I start crying. It hurts a lot. I couldn't hold it in any longer. Lay immediately stands up. "We are going to the nurse, right now!" he says worriedly as he gently lifts me in his arms.

20 Minutes later, I walk out of the nurse's office and see Lay leaning on the wall. I smile at him. He suddenly throws his arms around me, into a hug. He's nice and warm. "I'm glad that you're okay" he lets out a sigh or relief. I lazily giggle and rest my head on his shoulder wrapping my arms around him.  Something inside me just says: I wish I could stay like this for a bit more...
He eventually pulls away. To my disappointment. "Thanks for that..." I shyly mumble.

"It's alright...Hey, I'm going to meet the others, do you want to come with?" he quickly asks. I instantly nod.
We both arrive at the football pitch. Luhan, Xiumin and Kai are playing football, D.O is reading a book, Tao and Kris are talking on the edge of the pitch, Sehun, Chen, Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Suho are sitting down eating. Kai is the first one to see us. "Hyung!" Kai shouts from the pitch. Everyone turns around and looks at us. I wave. Soon everyone comes over. "Hyung where were you?" Chanyeol asks.
"Ocean was inj-" Lay begins, but I cut him off.
"I saw Lay earlier and started talking to him, I didn't know he had to meet you all, I am sorry," I say while bowing. Lay furrows his eyebrow at me, "Sorry" I mouth at him.

"Ocean I heard that you are really good at singing" Kai suddenly speaks up.
"What?! Who said that?" I ask.
"Luhan and Xiumin told me" Kai replies. I let out a small smile, slightly embarrassed as I look at them.
"Please sing for us, Ocean" they all plead.
"Okay, I'll sing What is Love then," I say as I clear my throat.
