Bad Dream

Kai and Lay are asleep in the guest bedroom upstairs. The rest of us are downstairs in the living room. Mason just returned from the room after tending their injuries. "They are okay for now," he informs us. Relief showers everyone's faces. I'm glad they're okay. " Can I go and see them?" I ask. Mason shakes his head, "They're sleeping, let them rest for a bit, okay?" He replies, while patting my back. I let out a disappointed sigh, but do as he says. He takes a seat next to me and that's when I notice Skyler. She's been staring at him a bit too much, I roll my eyes as I remember when they came over last time when Mason was home...

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Hi" Mason says as he answers the door to see Tristan and Skyler. Their eyes widen, because he is topless. (He was working out in the gym downstairs)

"Hi, I'm Skyler and this is Tristan," Skyler nervously says while pointing to herself and Tristan, "We are friends of Ocean."

"Oh, nice to meet you, I'm Ocean's Older brother Mason" he says bowing. They politely bow back. "Ocean!" he shouts.

"Yeah!?" I yell from my room.

"Tristan and Skyler are here!"

"I'm coming!" I say, swiftly running from my room. I finally reach them, "Mason you could have at least put on a shirt or something before answering the door..." I say trying to scold him.

"Isn't she cute," he says, patting my head, "trying to scold me, I'm older than you" he says walking away.

"Yeah, by a year and a bit..." I retort.

"Your brother is so cute!" Skyler says, I pull a face of disgust.

"Skyler! How could you say that about my brother!!!?" I yell.

"Shut up! He might hear you" she says covering my mouth. Tristan begins to laugh. "What is it, Tristan?" Skyler asks. Tristan points behind me to where we find Mason leaning against the wall with one eyebrow raised. "You think I'm cute huh?" he asks. Her whole face becomes red....

-END OF FLASHBACK-

I gently chuckle to myself, I guess she still has a little a crush on him. It's funny thinking about moments like those.

After a while Baekhyun points out that we have school in a couple of hours and that they should be going soon, I agree, they've lost out on a lot of sleep because of the incident, and school can be more exhausting than usual when you're tired. Kai and Lay will have to stay here then, if the others leave.

"I'm going to check on Kai and Lay, they might want to go with you," I say, standing up. I walk out the room and head over to the stairs.

Before I can make my way up the stairs Kai is slowly walking down them. "Omo, Kai! How are you feeling? Are you okay?" I bombard him, with questions.

"I'm okay, Ocean I wasn't hurt as badly as Lay, but I wish I could have helped him more..." he says.

I quickly give him a hug, then pull away, "don't worry, you did your best and that's enough, okay?" I try to assure him, "Anyway I'm going to check on Lay, the others are in the living room, they are planning on leaving soon, since we have school, later" I add. He just nods and continues down the stairs.

I gently open the door to the bedroom, to see Lay still sleeping on the bed. I sit next to him on the edge of the bed and rest my hand on his. It really makes me sad to see him hurt like this, "Oh, Lay why did this happen?" I whisper quietly as tear drops from my eye. I wipe it away, and I suddenly feel Lays hand wrap around mine, I turn my head to look at him. "Were you awake this whole time?" I ask. He cutely diverts his away from me, then nods, "Yeah..." he says as he sits up.

"Are you feeling better? Are you in pain?" I ask.

"I'm feeling a bit better, but I'm still sore." he simply answers.

"Ocean!" Mason calls from downstairs, "Your friends are going to go home it's getting late since there's school!"

"Oh, okay" I run to the top of the stairs and wave goodbye to them as they leave. "Mason? Where's mum and dad?" I ask,

"They were with Skyler and Tristan's parents the last time I saw them they might have gone over to one of their houses" Mason answers, "I'll call them." He says as he closes the front door.

I return back to the bedroom and sit on the bed again, "you should get some rest, and you'll feel much better later" I say.

"Will you stay with me?" he asks.

"Of course not!" I joke. I lie down next to him and rest my head on his chest. He slowly strokes my hair and my eyes begin to feel heavy, the next I know I'm asleep.

I open my eyes and see a three dark figures standing at the door. It's the two guys from the park and the guy that broke into my dorm room."This time you will be the one getting hurt, we will find you again," one of them says stepping towards me with a knife in his hands. I scream and scream Lays name, but he doesn't wake up. The guy raises his arm about to strike me with the knife-

I wake up to my own screaming. I see Lay looking at me worriedly, and I begin to cry, realising that it was a bad dream and that he's okay. Lay wraps his arms around me to calm down. Then Mason comes into the room followed by mum and dad."What's going on?" my dad asks in his gruff voice.

"I'm very sorry, I just had a really bad dream," I say with sobs in-between words.

"Don't worry Mr and Mrs Sung Hee, she'll be okay" Lay assures them.

"Thank you. Oh, Lay, how are you feeling Mason told me about what happened," my mum asks.

"I'm feeling better, thank you" he politely answers back.

"Let's go back to bed," Mason says guiding my parents out of the room. He closes the door behind him. I finally stop crying and wipe my tears away. "What happened in your dream?" he asks.

"I saw the two guys from the park and the guy that broke into Trifecta's dorm, one of them said 'This time you will be the one getting hurt, we will find you again,' then one of them walked towards me with a knife and he was about to stab me, then I woke up" I explain. Lay gives me another hug. We lie down again and he holds me in an embrace. I look up at him and he kisses my forehead. "You're okay now, so don't worry, I'll protect you,"
