Three "best friends"

17: 'Home'

A few days has passed and it was currently Friday and he had to go home soon. He sighed and looked up at the ceiling, he was in his dorm and just finished school. Mei was resting peacefully and the end of the bed. She has been helping him and eventually Aizawa had to find out sooner or later, he had remembered that moment and practically begged him to let him keep her. After a moments he sighed and let him have the cat there on one condition. He'd let Mei visit Aizawa at least once a week, it was a weird request but Todoroki obliged. Plus he mumbled some that said 'emotional support cat' or something like that.

He decided to get ready for his his training, he got up and looked through his drawers. A white thin shirt with some random black pants. After getting ready he brought Mei to take to Aizawa who was in his office. He picked her up and gave her one last kiss before handing her to Aizawa, the black haired sighed tiredly and smiled softly, Todoroki gave a wave goodbye and closed the door. He walked out of UA grounds and headed to his so called home. It didn't feel like home to him, home was someplace where you felt safe and felt loved by your family, that was home. It started drizzling on him, he shivered softly and started walking fast. He didn't want to use up to much energy since he'd need it for the training.

He honestly would have just stayed with Bakugo and Kirishima, they would always come around to see him and it was nice. He smiled softly at the thought but that was quickly wiped off when he reached his porch. Fear washed over him as mixed with some anger. He opened the door and and closed it softly, Fuyumi was there already knowing what will happen and gave him a scared, worried glance. She left, she couldn't stand to see her brother get hurt. He walked slowly to the training room and there already his father was waiting.

"Nice to see you again Shoto." He said, slight anger hiding in his voice as well with some sarcasm.

'Here we go'

After that.

Todoroki was left bleeding on the floor, bruises all over him, blood on his shirt, blooding falling from his nose and his head from constant banging on the wall. He wished there was another way for this, he used all his strength to get up and get out of that room. Eventually Fuyumi saw him and already had the first aid with her, Todoroki held back all the cries he wanted to unleash, he hated being weak in front of his sister and felt bad whenever she found him crying. She was treating every wound with care, after she was finished she lifted up his shirt and found a huge bruise on his side, along with some blood that had a slight cut. How he got cut remains a mystery. After she finished with everything she helped him get up.

"You should go back to the dorms," She said softly. "I'll walk you there and don't worry about me I'm going to stay with someone for the weekend, I'm sorry I should've told you earlier.." Her face had a slight pink over it, Todoroki nodded his voice to weak to hear. They grabbed an umbrella and she walked him all the way to the dorms again. While they were walking his side started to throb but he ignored it, he also would have to explain why he had so many wrapped bandages on him if somebody saw him. Fuyumi would sometimes say something funny and cheer him up along the way, he would chuckled in order to keep the tension away from them and leave it and 'home'.

"Who's this special person you are staying with?" He smirked, trying to mask the pain but still curious and teasing her. Her face went crimson and she began to stutter.

"I-I w-we-well, they are a very good friend." She finally said calming down, also using 'they' to keep the gender hidden.

"Yeah sure~." Todoroki rolled his eyes playfully, they started laughing a bit and started talking about something else, like how it getting cold and it was raining, mostly just some random stuff. They finally reached UA grounds, Fuyumi wasn't allowed to go any further so she insisted to take the umbrella but Todoroki shook his head and told her she had a farther walk than him, so after some arguments she sighed in defeat and walked away with the umbrella.

Todoroki wanted to run but his energy was mentally and physically drained, he loved the rain either way so staying out here was wonderful.  He tried to use his quirk to warm up but Todoroki's energy was still gone meaning he couldn't use either of his quirks. He started humming a song that sudden came in his head, he finally made his way to the dorms, the time was 9:58, almost 10pm. Mostly all the students would be in their dorms already, hopefully. He was soaked in water and opened the door, he didn't even take the time to change the shirt he had on, the shirts was very see through and saw pretty much everything. He walked quietly to the elevator praying that no one would see him, Mei was probably still with Aizawa so he would have to go get her soon. After he changed of course.

He managed to make it to his dorm without anyone seeing him. He shut the door and grabbed some new clothes, a black shirt with some random pants, He's just gonna go back to bed after he gets Mei so he doesn't need to dress all fancy. While getting dressed Todoroki noticed that there was hoodie there on the floor, it wasn't his though. He picked it up, it was just a plain black hoodie. He put it on and smelled the sleeves, then the colonel smelled like Bakugo's, he smiled softly to himself and kept it on. He honestly doesn't remember when Bakugo had left his hoodie but he doesn't mind.

After getting ready he went to Aizawa room to get Mei, the walk was pretty quiet, but he noticed he was limping a little. He sighed and continued to go, hopefully he doesn't have to go all the way in the room. Finally, he had reached the door and opened it. The raven haired looked up and smiled softly.

"Hello Todoroki, come for Mei?" The male said smiling softly looking up from some papers that he was grading. Todoroki matched his smile and nodded. Mei popped out from his scarf and meowed. Todoroki laughed slightly, slightly covering his mouth. She crawled out of the warm comfortable cave and walked over to Todoroki. He bend down and kissed the top of her forehead before picking her up.

"Thanks for watching her Sensei." Todoroki politely said earning a slight head nod from Aizawa. He walked out and tried to carry her while walking but he just couldn't. "Here." Todoroki mumbled, putting her down on the ground. His side was beginning to throb with pain, he grunted in pain catching Mei's attention. After a few minutes Todoroki and Mei reached the floor of his dorm, every step was leading to more pain. He was practically grabbing onto his hip.

"Hey Todoroki!"
