The next day at school, Minjung ignored you all day, your discussion in the park made her move away from you. It didn't bother you in particular, as long as you got the answer you wanted right from her.

What bothered you was that he sat next to Sunghoon all the time and since he despised you, he also influenced Sunghoon to ignore you. You couldn't lie saying it didn't bother you, because it really bothered you.

Yeona could see you throwing knife-filled glances at their bench at the chemistry lab. You hated the sample of jealousy, but it won't take long between them, you knew that. Since they are not soulmates.

That thought brought you comfort until the English class, you are the best in the class and everyone knows it. You never gave up or felt threatened until Minjung began to imitate you.

Whenever you wanted to give an answer, she would take it before you, the first time you didn't notice that, until she stopped. You excused yourself in the bathroom but her victorious gaze followed you until you left the classroom.

You thought her annoyance would pass, you ignored her and her behavior as much as possible, but she didn't stop. Every day of making sure you have your little portion of torture from her.

You didn't know if it was because she realized you liked Sunghoon or because she's jealous of what you have. But it's gotten to you, Yeona was seeing her, the blood was pumping violently into your veins whenever Minjung drove you to dispair.

In the last class of the week, a week in which you endured all of Minjung's treatment, you were left alone in class with her. You refused to leave when Yeona asked you, you just wanted to talk. In your mind you wanted to do a lot more, but you had to act according to the state and your age, so you just wanted to talk.

You waited patiently for her to pack her things, and when her foot was in the doorway, ready to go, your voice made her stop. "Minjung wait."

You already knew that she would probably behave as if she was innocent and did nothing on purpose. You had to get to your point of view before her attitude annoyed you too much. But at the same time, you have to be careful what you say. Lots of work for a normal discussion.

She turned to you with a faint smile, spinning a strand of hair between her fingers. Her posture was straight and imposing, but that didn't intimidate you, even more so, it got on your nerves.

"Look, I know we don't have a good relationship, and you probably don't like me. Don't worry, the feeling is mutual. But that doesn't mean you can start taking everything from me, you know your own limits. The fact that you like Sunghoon and you're lying to him, and I know that, shouldn't have anything to do with school."

You spoke as clearly as possible, you used the calmest tone possible, hoping for a reasonable answer. She knew you were right, somewhere in her heart, but she didn't want to accept it because of her pride.

"It's nice that you're trying to limit me, I've never said anything about my feelings since that day. The fact that I'm better than you at school has nothing to do with Sunghoon. I'm better than you and you know that, you can say what you want, I just try to get good results at school. "

She said it and simply left, waving, opening the door with her other hand, and then stepping out of the classroom with the same smug smile she always has when she looks at you.

You were so angry, but you couldn't shout, you couldn't hit anyone. You hate to show your feelings, but you really hated her, you hated her with all your heart at this moment. And you couldn't control your tears from the moment she first one crossed your cheek.

Your breathing was steady as you stared blankly at the wall and cried helplessly. You didn't even know why you were so frustrated by this. You didn't know why you were so jealous, you just wanted her to leave where she came from and get your life back to normal.

You couldn't stand the unpredictable, something that wasn't in your daily schedule, something new. You were scared of new and unknown things, of the feelings they provoke in you. You hate to cry but you can't help it because of an unknown girl that came here to ruin your ordinary life.

The classroom was silent, only small sighs could be heard, the door was closed but no one locked it, the school closed only after another 3 hours. You didn't want to leave, you didn't want to be seen like that.

You remember where this whole conflict started. Sunghoon. The fact that you are attracted to him unintentionally annoys you to the core, you hate to leave things to their own way to happen, you want everything to be calculated, to happen when you are ready and bored with your daily life.

While you were deep in thought, you could hear slow, relaxed, familiar footsteps in the hallway. You held back from making any sound, you knew who he was, he has one mire class, art class.

Suddenly his phone started ringing, his footsteps stopping near the door, making you tense. He answers the phone, and after a few seconds he says, "Okay, I'll check for you, bye."

Your breathing stopped and you quickly began to wipe away your tears when you heard the door open. You sat with your head on your arms to hide your face. You didn't know what else to do, even if it was embarrassing, you didn't want to be seen crying.

Sunghoon stepped into the classroom, his eyes fixed on Minjung's desk, but they quickly moved over your figure. He recognized you quickly, you were both tensed by the situation.

He walked briefly to Minjung's office, checking under it, but found nothing. He stopped instead to give her a message, probably telling her he couldn't find what she was looking for. Then his attention was on you, walking slowly, he came to sit next to the empty place next to you.

"Are you sleeping? Classes are over, you should have been home by now."

He touched your shoulder carefully, shaking you slightly, you felt tingling all over your body from the moment he touched you. In fact, from the moment he stepped inside. It was so weird that you always felt an attraction to him, it wasn't forced or simply out of admiration, it felt natural.

He felt it too, but he ignored it, being frightened by the feeling even though it was pleasant, your presence makes him want to never leave, even though he knows nothing about you or your life.

Unable to avoid the situation, you looked up and rubbed your eyes before looking directly at him, his eyes softened seeing your puffy ones, his expression transitioning into a worried one. "Why were you crying?"
