You instantly regretted raising your head since he was so close. Your hearts were beating at the same rate, but you didn't notice. He was here, right in front of you, wondering why you were crying.

"Just leave it, I don't want to talk about it." You wiped away any traces of suspicion that you cried, but he wasn't convinced, he kept looking at you worriedly.

"I'm sorry that I seem really careless most of the times and we aren't close..but you can trust me, really." his own words surprised him, but he was as honest as could be, you could see that in his eyes.

You wanted to be so vulnerable for a moment in front of him, you wanted to trust him. It wasn't his fault, but you knew it was in vain because of her.

"You wouldn't believe me..you don't trust me enough." your eyes avoided his, looking at your hands on your lap and playing with your own fingers.

"I do. I don't know the reason why, but I feel like I can trust you, you're always so honest and straight up, I respect that so I promise I will believe you."

You almost smiled, but you refrained, your heart filled slowly with his words. His stern voice, his sincere eyes, his confident expression. You suddenly felt safe.

"Even if I told you the reason I have been crying is Minjung?" your helpless expression and your desperate voice softened his soul, catching your eyes carefully, looking for any kind of lie, nothing.

He swallowed hard, proceeding with the information, remembering everything that had happened lately, any connection of his "girlfriend" with you.

"I believe you." You fixed your eyes meeting his eyes, this moment was unreal for you, everything that was happening around you. "Why?"

"I saw how she behaves with you, and her attitude when she talks about you bothered me, but I ignored her, I'm sorry. I could have changed something, you probably wouldn't cry now."

You nodded, pleased with the answer, feeling your heart beat even harder. What you didn't know was how excited he was at that moment, thanks to this conversation.

" It's okay, the reason I'm crying is childish anyway, I'm sorry if I sounded too dramatic, I just felt like I needed to cry." He smiled shyly, nodding, leaning his body against the back of Yeona's chair.

"However, I want to thank you for this conversation, it means a lot. I never knew how to talk to you directly, thank you for doing it first."

His expression turned to a more serious one, but comforting, his heart began to beat harder. He didn't know what that feeling was, but it felt good, he wanted it to keep going, and it just happened around you. That made him wonder what was so special about you.

"I promise I'll talk to Minjung without seeming to know the situation, so I don't have any more problems with her, I promise I'll try to solve it." you both smiled sympathetically, you began to gather your things at last, his eyes following your movements.

You stopped doing something, your eyes widened as you headed for Sunghoon "Didn't you have another class? It's been 20 minutes since the bell rang! What will the teacher tell you about this?"

He simply shrugged, unperturbed as if it were nothing special. "Jake will take my things off once the bell rings, and it's art class, I'll say I didn't feel well. No big deal, other than making a failed drawing, I'd rather stay here and talk to you."

You didn't know yourself why, but you laughed at his response making him smile." Happiness looks good on you, I'll take care of that. "

Your cheeks blushed uncontrollably, making him smile mischievously at your reaction to his words, but he blushed a little too which you found weirdly cute.

You were relieved of the embarrassing moment by no one but the janitor who came to clean by opening the door and taking you both by surprise. Her eyebrows rose seeing both of you alone in there.

A girl and a boy. Alone. With no one else. Of course the thought about unholy things so she started scolding both of you making you quickly pack your things and stand up to leave the room with Sunghoon behind you.

Both of you kept blushing figuring out what the lady's first thoughts were when she saw you in there. He held his hands in his pockets and you stared at you legs walking on the same rhythm as his.

"I'm going home for now, good luck with finding a place to hang around before the class ends." you turned to him holding the straps of your backpack, keeping eye contact.

"I'll talk to Minjung, promise tomorrow will be different." you nodded and you turned to leave outside the door but stopped before he said goodbye.

"Oh, and Sunghoon, I trust you too."
