Yesterday felt like a fever dream to you, the memories didn't feel real. You didn't know how things would turn out, but it was Saturday, so you still had until Sunday night to think about it.

You spent your day listening to your parents arguing, as usual. It wasn't new to you and you never got very far, your mother knew how to be defensive.

Ever since you were a child, you have imagined that all married couples are like that, that it is normal for them not to spend time together much and to have quarrels all the time. Your parents weren't soulmates, you felt pity for them.

Growing up you realized some things, you wished they were divorced, knowing that they haven't been in love for a long time and you care about both of them.

But they both set you aside, saying it was their business and that you shouldn't get involved. So you're just a spectator of their daily scandals, without ever giving you enough attention.

You would have liked to go out on weekends, to do anything but no one invites you to anything. Yeona lives on the other side of town, and you had no other close friends, so you were alone for a long time. Being an only child didn't help.

The air split as the noise from the living room turned into a profound silence. Someone rang the front doorbell.

Normally no one comes to visit, only relatives occasionally but always announce in advance. You got out of bed and went to the door to open it, while your parents waited for the unannounced guest.

Your footsteps on the floor were noisy in all this silence, the bell rang once more, then you were already in front of the door. Putting your hand firmly on the door, you felt a warmth, you felt your heart start beating harder.

That strange feeling has returned, that state of being drawn by an invisible magnet to ... Sunghoon. "Sunghoon? Here? Why?!"

You panicked, but you had to open the door sooner or later. With a faint creak, the door cracked, your eyes met.

Then you were aware that you were still wearing pajamas, you wanted the earth to swallow you because of your shame when his eyes dropped from your head to your feet.

"W-what are you doing here?" you asked, mentally face-palming yourself because you stammered. His dark eyes met yours again, his white teeth were revealed with a sympathetic smile.

"It's Saturday, I'm sorry that I didn't ask you yesterday if you had plans..low-key obvious that you don't but I want to go out with you."

You tried to hide the smile caused by his remark about your outfit, then your eyes widened at his last words. Wait he said 'I wanted to go out with you' not 'Do you wanna go out with me?' Damn.

"You can say no if you don't want to come of course, I'm asking to go as friends..I don't mean anything else." he gestured with his hands and you nodded.

Since your parents didn't care what you were doing, you invited him in, closing the door behind him. Even if you were in your pajamas and walking in front of him, you were trying to be as calm as possible.

"I'll have to get ready so you can wait in my room." he hummed in response analyzing your house.

"Aren't your parents home?" you sighed stepping in your room "Yes they are but they won't mind us, or the fact that I'm letting a boy in my room."

The slightly bitterness in your tone was felt by him, he read through you, as hard you tried to act like you didn't care, he knew you did.

You went to your closet to get clothes to change and went to the bathroom.
" I'll be right back. "

While you were getting ready, he admired your room, noticing how organized you were. Everything was meticulously arranged in its place, the furniture itself was simple. The walls are full of album posters from your favorite artists making the room feel cozy and familiar.

He noticed what good tastes in music you had, he noticed a picture frame with you and someone else, a girl he had never seen before. The picture wasn't recent, maybe three or four years ago, but you seemed much happier.

Once the bathroom door opened, he turned to you, almost startling. She scanned your eyes and noticed your new makeup and outfit. "You look nice." He scratched the back of his neck smiling , making you blush.

You left your house with him without being noticed by your parents. Although it was already 6 p.m. none of you cared. He didn't exactly have a schedule and you didn't plan on coming back home so soon.

All you wanted to do was running away from everything for a while. Running away with him.
