I don't mean to brag, but uh... I'm currently on a train. That's not the brag, btw. Not that I'm bragging, or anything, because nothing really happened. Oh, except for me seeing Jeremy Jordan in Little Shop of Horrors. I know, I know. No big deal.
OKAY, IT WAS A HUGE DEAL AND IT WAS AMAZING AND I MAY HAVE CRIED A BIT, BECAUSE JEREMY FREAKING JORDAN WAS ONLY 20 FEET IN FRONT OF ME AND OH MY CHUCK!
My thoughts on the whole thing, excluding my bias on Jeremy? It was awesome. Everyone was amazing. I will say that Tammy Blanchard was not the best choice for the role of Audrey, but she wasn't as bad as everyone made her out to be. She has talent, it's just that Audrey wasn't the best role for her. The theater was a bit smaller than I imagined and it was a bit of a tight fit, but that didn't affect the show at all. Christian Borle was freaking amazing. Loved him. The ending was different from the movie, even the alternate ending they had, but it was still good. Kind of unexpected and I kind of wanted to punch Seymour 'Cause he was being stupid? But other than that, it was honestly a 9, maybe 10 out of 10. You can tell that they all worked really hard on the performance and it was amazing.
Now, Jeremy Jordan. Oh, good old Jeremy Jordan. The man was twenty feet in front of me. I could see the spit fly from his mouth. He was amazing, oh my God. His vocals? Amazing. You could really tell that he enjoys playing Seymour, too. There was this one time, where he was on a step ladder and it moved and he almost fell on his ass. No, it wasn't scripted. You could tell. And he also dropped a phone. I don't know if that was scripted or not. Knowing that Seymour is a clumsy character, it probably was, but my Grandma swears it wasn't. He's a bit shorter than I imagined and whenever he had to close the blinds, he had to do this little jump and it was honestly kind of adorable. Also, the leather jacket that he wore for like .2 seconds was a little big on him, like the sleeves were over his hands. Again, adorable. But he's 37, he shouldn't be adorable. Jeremy gets an 11/10 because he was just awesome.
It was freaking amazing, guys. This was my first real musical and it starred Jeremy freaking Jordan.

Anyways, again I say, it was amazing. Jeremy is only in it until Janurary 9th, so not long at all, but even if he isn't in it, I highly recommend. A majority of the people were there for Jeremy, including myself. Like, whenever someone entered the stage, everyone clapped and stuff, but when Jeremy appeared on stage, it was twice as loud and there was even a few hollers. I felt a little bad for the other performers, but Jeremy honestly deserves all the hype he gets, plus more. Ah, it was such an amazing experience. He was so close to me and I will never forget last night. My Grandma admitted that Jeremy was better than she originally thought he was going to be. AH, I SAW JEREMY JORDAN IN LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS!
