Greg's POV
"Hey, beautiful! What are you doing?" I asked her. "I was writing a poem." She said. "About what?" I asked. "It's about you." "Really?" "Yeah," she said, and I smiled. "Then, I would love to hear it," I said, and she started reading the poem.
So kiss me sweet with your warm wet mouth,
Still fragrant with ruby wine,
And say with a fervor born of the South
That your body and soul are mines.
Clasp me close in your warm young arms,
While the pale stars shine above,
And we'll live our whole young lives away
In the joys of a living love.
She read it, and a small tear escaped my eyes. "Wow, Denise. It was so beautiful!" I said. "You liked it?" she asked, and I nodded. "I've also written something for you," I said. "Really? What is it?" "A poem, love," I said, and she looked excited. I pulled out a note from my pocket and read it.
You make me laugh when I want to cry,
Make me live when I want to die,
Make me smile when I want to frown,
You turn my life upside down.
Believe in me when no one else does,
You're my now, my is, my was.
When you call my name, I begin to blush,
I am afraid people notice I need you so much.
When I am with you, time flies by fast,
It's like the present is the past.
I need you more than you can believe,
Love you more than you can conceive.
Think about you every night and day,
Ans hope my life can stay this way,
I don't want it any other way.
I concluded and looked up to see Denise. She was legit crying. I gave her a smile to reassure her that I meant every single line of it. "Aww, Greg! That was so sweet." She said, and I pulled her for a kiss. As both of our lips connected, I felt the butterflies again. The kiss got deeper and deeper, and I couldn't resist myself. I carried her to our bedroom and locked the door.
