(Next Day in London)

I carried our luggage as we got outside the airport. Though it was a one-hour flight, it was early in the morning, and I was tired. I tried sleeping on the plane, but a baby, seated right in front of us was crying continuously. Clare was sleepy too but couldn't sleep. But, as the flight landed, I don't know where she got this energy, but she looked really enthusiastic, and it seemed like she would run to the cab if it was in her hands.

"Clare. Wait for me!" I said, calling her. I tried to run, but my body felt so heavy so, I stopped and tried to walk fast. I reached Clare, "How do you have so much energy?" I asked her. "I don't know. As soon as the flight, landed I regained my energy and felt refreshed," she said, and I nodded. "The cab is waiting for us outside. Let's go." I said, and we both made our way outside.

We walked outside, and as soon as London's air reached me, even I felt enthusiastic, but it quickly vanished away. We both made our way to our cab, and the cab driver helped me load the luggage in the car, and Clare sat in the back seat. I opened the car door and sat beside Clare as the cab driver started driving.

-

We were 5 minutes away from the hotel, and I was on my phone. I suddenly saw Clae sleeping from the corner of my eyes. I turned and saw that Clare was fast asleep. I let out a chuckle, and the driver pulled up at our hotel. I shook Clare by her arm to wake her up, but instead, she pushed my hand and continued sleeping. I got out of the car, and a bellhop came towards our car and picked up our luggage while I opened the door to Clare's seat and picked her up in bridal style. I carried her inside the hotel and carefully put her on the couch situated in the hall. I went to the reception and gave the receptionist our identity proofs, and she checked us in.

Our room was on the first floor. The bellhop took the key, and I picked up Clare from the couch, and we all made our way to our room. He opened the door to our room, and I stepped in, put Clare carefully on the bed, and pulled the covers on her. The bellhop set our luggage inside, and I gave him a tip. He said, "Thank you," and left the room. I closed the door and started looking around the room. It was a suite not, to mention it was costly, but anything for Clare.

I picked up a few clothes from my bag and went to take a shower. I opened the bathroom, and it was huge too. I opened the shower door, stepped in, and started it. The hot water felt so good. All my tiredness was soon vanishing away. Here, in London, it's almost freezing. I didn't want to step out of the shower, but I had to. I turned off the water. I cleaned my body and wore my clothes. I stepped outside the bathroom and saw Clare still sleeping.

I checked the time, and it was about 1 hour since she slept. I removed her hair which was on her face and kissed her. She kissed me back, so I pulled away. "I knew that would wake you up," I said and started laughing. Clare blushed and got up. "How did I get here?" Clare asked. "You slept in the cab, and when I tried to wake you up but you wouldn't so, I picked you up and brought you here," I said. "Aww. You must be tired." She said, and I shook my head. "No. You were actually pretty light," I said. "You should go and take a shower. By that time, I will order room service. What do you want to have for breakfast?" I asked her. "Waffles?" she asked. "Okay," I said, and she picked her clothes from her bag and made her way to the bathroom.

I called the room service. "Good Morning. I am speaking from room number 313. Can you please send two chocolate waffles?" I said, and they replied with an 'Okay' and said it would be ready and delivered in 15 minutes. I hung up and called my mum. She picked up.

"Hey, Mum." "Hi, Niall. How are you? How was your flight?" "It was great." "Good. Did you reach the hotel yet?" "Yeah. It's been one hour since we arrived." "Oh. Great. What are you doing right now?" "Nothing much. We just ordered our breakfast." "Okay. Your dad wants to talk to you." "Okay" "Hello son," "Hi, dad. How are you?" "I am good. Thanks for asking. How was your flight?" "It was great." "That's good. You both enjoy, but not too much enjoy." I laughed. "We will keep that in mind. I will see you soon, dad. Bye." "Bye." and I hung up.
