Ten years later
Gazing lifelessly down at the thin Japanese sword in her clenched hand, the fifteen-year old's dull brown eyes followed each drop of crimson liquid hang off the tip of the sword and land soundlessly on the ground.
"Celestia." The voice of a familiar creature reached her human ears.
Her gaze trailed up to meet her masters pair and this initiated his she remained emotionless as he began to complain.
"What the hell was that just now? I've been training you for the last ten years and I don't remember you fighting with the speed of a snail. I wouldn't have been surprised if these weak demons killed you."
The straight black strands of Celestia's silky hair sway slightly under her hood as she stepped off the pile of dead bodies. The sharp weapon she summoned earlier transformed into light, allowing itself to be absorbed by the tattoo on the palm of her hand. The male glared as she disregarded his last words and spun on her heels, intending to leave the sickening scene.
"How many times have I told you to not act like that towards me?" His form materialised in front of her, this allowing his long fingers to wrap around her neck.
Celestia choked as her body was driven back and smacked against one of the trees in the vast forest. He released her once her face grew pale and watched smugly as she coughed and desperately inhaled as much as oxygen as she could. She bowed stiffly towards her master as soon as she managed to sort herself out.
"I apologize, Zerro."
His lips formed into a cruel grin and he unexpectedly planted a kick in her stomach causing Celestia to hit against the rough bark a second time.
"You are just a weapon…nothing else." A twinge of pain made her heart throb and her focus remained on the ground as Zerro wielded some of his demonic power to leave her behind.
Giving herself a few minutes to settle down from the moment that just took place, Celestia grabbed her phone from the bag she put to the side before and examined the time on the brightly lit screen.
There was twenty minutes left before the first warning bell would ring throughout a specific building she frequently visited. She made herself look presentable and strapped her bag to her back before heading straight towards her school, not giving the dead pile of demons another glance.

Stepping into the familiar hall that belonged to Shorlane Secondary School, the black haired girl could already feel the hateful stares from a few particular students she wasn't very fond of. To receive this every day, one would break down and suffer from the non-physical torture that the other teenagers would verbally throw but to Celestia it was nothing. She grew up to this kind of treatment so to say it affected her was incorrect.
"Ah, good morning Celestia. Early as usual I see." The cheery voice of her maths teacher bounced against the walls of the large classroom.
She nodded towards the elderly man and shuffled to her desk, placing her bag on the empty seat next to her. The lesson began when the whole class was present but Celestia continuously focused on the painted blue sky and the clouds.
"Celestia. Could you answer the question please?" Her eyes flickered to her teacher before moving onto the textbook she opened up a few moments ago.
She scanned the question and the answer instantly appeared in her mind.
"X equals seven and Y equals ten." He smiled softly and nodded in approval before moving onto another student.
"Teacher's pet," A voice mumbled behind her.
Celestia turned her head and glanced back to witness a male student scowl at her. She remained unfazed by this and spoke low enough for him to hear only.
"Your words don't bother me so I suggest you shut your trap." The detail of his eyebrows sharpened as anger took over his face and Celestia wasn't surprised when he gripped onto the front of her blazer the moment he leaned close enough to take a hold of it.
Bringing her closer when she completely turned to him, he towered over her slim form and attempted to cast himself as a threat.
"What on earth are you doing, Quinn?!" Their grey haired teacher approached them in panic.
Deciding to end this annoying event, she merely stomped on Quinn's foot. This earned her a sharp cry from the boy and he loosened his hold on her.
"Would you explain to me what happened just now, Celestia?" She turned to the teacher and quietly answered.
"Quinn insulted me and I insulted him back." Her reply was the truth and Quinn had to gaze at the girl in disbelief, wondering why on earth she would spill everything when she could have lied to get her out of the mess.
"I see but that still isn't good Celestia. You should have just ignored him and this whole problem wouldn't have begun. Both of you will be getting detention at lunch time," He disciplined, receiving a minor reply of agreement from the two students.

Drumming her digits against the desk, Celestia observed the clock as it ticked in the direction of the time that would conclude her tedious detention.
"Stop that." Quinn's voice grasped her ears but she purposely took no notice of it and continued.
A crumpled portion of paper tapped her shoulder and she was aware that the idiot behind her was responsible for this.
"Do you really want to get hurt?" His heavy British accent didn't benefit to scare her.
Having enough with her lack of response, Quinn smacked his hands against his desk and straightened up. Their teacher was absent due to having to assist another thus leaving them on their own.
The youthful teenager drew near and curled his big hand into a duke to direct it towards her face. Celestia brought her arms up as a shield but one more presence was ultimately noted the second they halted Quinn's attack.
"I can understand if you want to hit on this pretty girl but actually hurting her shouldn't be an option." Celestia focused her sight upwards when it was difficult to establish the unrecognisable voice but her eyes opened further in astonishment as she sensed the tattoo on her palm warm up.
"Who the hell are you?" Quinn enquired impolitely.
Releasing his fist, the male ruffled his strange but short blue locks, his brown eyes curving as he exposed a jolly smile.
"The names Han and I'm here to collect my date, Celestia Levant." He draped an arm around her shoulder, his smile extending into a grin.
