SEATTLE, WA. January 25th, 1991.

Aurora and Tommy have spent the last few days hanging out non-stop, doing the things they used to when they were teenagers, but Aurora can't help but feel a little guilty that she isn't having the same fun as she used to.

It's definitely not Highschool anymore.

Aurora's eyelids flutter open slowly, to the sight of Tommy at the bottom of her bed for third night in a row.

Aurora smiles as she watches him snore softly just as he used to when they were younger, but her gaze is suddenly broken when she sees Dave in the doorway, dropping his suitcase on the ground.

"What the hell?!" Dave exclaims, staring at the man in his bed, their bed.

Dave instantly turns away, stomping through the house, Aurora quickly fumbling out of bed, eventually reaching him as he gets to the front door.

"Dave." Aurora says, grabbing onto his hand, slightly worried at what he may have thought about seeing a man in a bed with Aurora.

Dave pulls his hand away from Aurora and stares at her hurtfully for a moment, before walking out the front door.

"Please, Dave!" Aurora says as she chases after him down the steps. "Just let me explain." Aurora states, as she follows him out of the apartment complex's doors.

"Aurora, I just need to be alone." Dave states, looking at Aurora eyes for a moment, before breaking his gaze and moving to his car.

It's evident that in his voice, Dave is heartbroken, not to mention that there are tears in the brims of his eyes.

"Dave." Aurora says, pleading for him to come back. "Aurora, just give me some time to think." Dave states simply, not looking at her once as begins to open his door.

"Wait, wait." Aurora says, rushing over to Dave.

"Do you remember, our promise?" Aurora asks and Dave sighs, "Yes, I remember." He stated simply.

"Well, come back." Aurora states, choking on her tears slightly, "Come back to our side of the tree." Aurora says.

Dave quickly wipes the tears away from his eyes, before getting into the drivers seat, starting the car and driving off into the distance, leaving Aurora stranded.

Aurora watches as he drives off and it's like her legs turned to jelly as she falls to the ground. Aurora puts her hand over her mouth in an attempt to quieten her sobs, though it doesn't have any benefits.

Aurora wasn't expecting Dave to come back so early, and she wished that he didn't have to see that, because it's really not what it looked like.

Tommy is a friend and nothing more to Aurora, he will never be anything more.

Eventually, after some time, Aurora brings herself to her feet, before walking back through the apartment complex doors, up the stairs and into the apartment.

"It's my fault, I should've just taken the couch, I shouldn't have even stayed in the first place." Tommy says, knowing exactly what has happened, also feeling horrible for Aurora and what may have happened between her relationship with Dave.

Aurora stays silent, anxiously biting her nails as she sits at the able, tapping her foot on the ground quickly.

Tommy says no more, instead grabbing his jacket and walking out of the door, knowing that Aurora will need the space.

A few minutes pass after Tommy leaves, and Aurora rushes to the phone hanging on the wall, dialling a much too familiar number.

"Hello?" A soft voice says through the phone, "Kurt." Aurora says simply, her voice trembling, hands shaking. "Aurora? Are you okay? What's happened?" Kurt asks quickly. "I- Something happened." Aurora says, breaking down into sobs, simply not being able to contain herself.
