It had been a few weeks since I joined the Arsonists when the attack on Hosu happened. The whole ordeal shook many people including myself. The fact that there was someone out there with the power to mutate and genetically modify quirks that were challenging for even the second greatest hero, Endeavor, to beat was pretty terrifying. On top of that, the Hero Killer was defeated by Endeavor on the same night.

When the League heard the news, Ikki was outraged. He spent almost an hour pacing back and forth in the common area, shouting curses and muttering things under his breath. Nobody in the league wanted to go near him in fear that he might lash out, so we waited until he calmed down.

"Ikki, calm down," Nanami said, slowly approaching our leader.

"Shut up! We just lost one of our greatest allies!"

"I know, but now we know that there's someone out there who's powerful enough to create disposable soldiers," I added.

"You mean the nomus? No. I know who did it and I refuse to talk to him," Ikki hissed.

"Wait, you know who made them?" Nanami asked.

"Yes. Another league known as the League of Villains, led by Tomura Shigaraki." Ikki balled up his fists. "Shigaraki is like a man-child. He makes poor plans and rushes into action impatiently like a little kid. I'm not going to stake this league's future on such an immature brat like him."

"A while ago, Shigaraki attacked UA with a nomu. I heard from some class 1A students that he was extremely dangerous, and he managed to nearly disintegrate the pro hero Eraserhead."

"That's true, but if we were to ally with Shigaraki and his league, he would want to take charge. I won't allow him to use the members of our league like puppets."

I nodded. "But what if you found a way to convince him that you two would work alongside each other? He wouldn't have total power, but he would feel like he has more control over the alliance. To be fair, if you split power, then you wouldn't have much control over the Villains' actions but at least we wouldn't have to worry about Shigaraki going power-crazy."

"I'll think about it," was all Ikki said before walking to his room.

Nanami looked at me in confusion. "How'd you do that?" she asked.

"Do what?"

"You managed to get Ikki to do something without him resorting to violence."

"I don't know. I guess I'm just persuasive."

Nanami chuckled a bit then walked off as well, leaving me in the common area alone.

A few days later, I went with Ikki and Devon to meet the League of Villains so that we could form an alliance. Three members of the League were there, a man with blue hair, a blonde girl whose hair was done in messy double buns, and a man who looked like he was made out of some sort of black mist. "Well, well, well. Look who came crawling back to the League," the man with the blue hair smirked from under what looked like a dismembered human hand.

"I'm not crawling back, Shigaraki. You're the only one here with the power to make nomus that could be useful if a strategy is applied," Ikki replied with a hint of annoyance.

"So, you came back for my latest experiments? What's in it for me?"

"You'll have access to my newest recruit, Shinsou. He's a student at UA and he can provide important intel once he transfers into the hero course."

The blue-haired man paced towards me, looking me up and down. I did my best not to flinch or show any signs of anxiety, but this man was, without any doubt, intimidating. Ikki had told me about Shigaraki before we left the base, including things about his quirk. With just one touch, I could be turned to dust.
