"Midoriya?" I asked, peering over Hayami's shoulder as she wrote.

"Yeah, you fought him in the sports festival, didn't you? What was it like?"

I scowled at the mention of that brat's name. I was less than a foot away from victory. Half a step away from proving my worth to everyone who's ever doubted me, but he ruined it. He just had to be the hero, didn't he? "It was aggravating. He somehow managed to break my mind control, I think it's because of his strong emotions. I really don't know how to put it in words."

The girl wrote this down, kicking her legs. She had light brown hair and pale skin with rosy cheeks.

"Anything else you know about him?"

I thought for a moment before shaking my head. "No, nothing comes to mind. Why do you care anyway?"

"Well, I'm kinda like the record-keeper for the Arsonists. I provide intel on pretty much anyone that I meet in exchange for a roof over my head and food. Ikki found me when I was pretty much a baby, and since then I've been in his debt."

I nodded. "Sorry I don't have much to add to your little investigation."

Hayami shut her notebook before getting out of her chair. "It's okay! I was planning on going to UA anyway to collect more info on the students. I'll be back later!" She said.

I watched her walk out the door with her journal before looking around the base more. There were about two halls designated for sleeping, each member of the gang seemed to have their own room. The largest room in the base was the common area where the whole gang would get together to discuss plans and hang out. The kitchen had a microwave, a stove, and a small oven. It was a cramped room that looked like it used to be an old storage closet. There wasn't much else to the base beside bathrooms and a basement, so I decided to go back to my room and clean up a bit. About halfway through my task, I found a small piece of paper on the floor of my closet. It was all folded up and wrinkled.

I grabbed the object, unwrinkling it before realizing that it was a photograph.

There were two people in the picture, one appeared to be Devon from the League. He had a large grin on his face, and an arm around a shorter man with platinum white hair that fell to about his ears. Both of the men were laughing, and in the background of the picture there seemed to be some sort of bar setting. On the bottom of the picture in the blank white space there was a caption that read 'New Member: Michael, 10/13'

I folded the paper once again and put it in my pocket, thinking to myself. There wasn't a member of the gang with white hair, was there? And it wasn't even October yet, so was this photo from last year?

Once I finished cleaning my room, I walked out to find Devon and ask him about the picture. I finally located him in the pantry grabbing a box of cereal. "Hey, Squirt. What do you need?" He asked.

"I found a picture in my room... Could you tell me about it?" I pulled the photo out of my pocket and showed it to Devon, who immediately snatched it out of my hand.

"Where'd you get this? Who said you could have it?!"

"I found it on my closet floor. It was all wrinkled up--"

"God dammit... I thought I got rid of this thing." Devon activated his quirk and set the paper on fire using heat from his hands.

"Why'd you do that?" I asked, now even more confused.

"It doesn't matter, kid. Don't go snooping around in my business, got it?"

I nodded as Devon pushed past me, walking to the common area. I sighed. There were so many things I wanted to ask the members here.
