More weeks passed on uneventfully until the attack on the UA training camp where Katsuki Bakugou was kidnapped by the League of Villains. This was a huge victory until the Kamino Incident, where pro heroes from all over came to rescue the student. Everything was pure chaos; All for One was arrested, the League's base was destroyed, multiple members were injured, and Shigaraki barely escaped.
A few days after the incident, Shigaraki came up to our base and angrily demanded to talk to Ikki. "You didn't help at all! Where were you?!" Shigaraki shouted.
"Watching the news with a bowl of popcorn. If we would have gone, do you know how many of my leaguers would have been caught?"
Shigaraki scoffed. "You were just afraid. Meanwhile, my League was out risking their lives over a stupid kid!" Shigaraki's attention shifted to me as he took a few steps in my direction. "You. We could have used your quirk to keep everything under control! You could have brainwashed someone and helped us!"
Ikki stepped between Shigaraki and I. "Don't bring the kid into this. You never requested backup, and what would have happened if the pro heroes saw Hitoshi with you? They would kick him out of UA and we'd no longer have a spy. We need to keep our alliance a secret."
The turquoise-haired man groaned, scratching at his neck. "You're waiting to weaken my league so that you can take us out!"
"What would we have to gain from that? We would lose access to your nomus, and key members of your league. Why would we go through the trouble of making an alliance with you if we were just going to watch you self-destruct without doing anything?"
Shigaraki continued to tear at his neck until blood began to show. The man looked down at his hands and then at Ikki. "Don't test me. I'll slice your hands off then carve a grin in your ugly face," Ikki threatened.
"Big talk, I'm leaving," Shigaraki said, walking out of the base.
I looked at Ikki, who scoffed in annoyance. "You're welcome, kid. He would have killed you."
"Thanks..." I muttered, still looking at the door. "What are we going to do now?"
"I don't know. There's not much we can do apart from training and making sure we're ready to fight if anything happens."
I groaned, knowing what Ikki was going to say next. "Speaking of which, why don't you go and train outside?"
Yep, knew it. "Okay, sir."
I walked into the clearing reluctantly and started to practice a few moves. My muscles had memorized everything I was taught, and moving around the clearing felt easy. However, my new combat skills wouldn't be enough to impress the teachers or even beat anyone from class 1A during the training exercise that Hayami talked about. I didn't realize that my movements had become more aggressive until Ayano walked outside. "Are you beating the air up for its lunch money or something?" she joked, walking towards me.
I stopped my movements and sighed, looking at her. "No, I was just thinking about something."
The orange-haired girl stood in front of me with a smirk. "Wanna spar?"
Come to think of it, I didn't know Ayano's quirk. "Sure."
I got into an offensive position and Ayano got into a defensive stance. I struck first, hitting hir straight in the stomach... or so I thought. My hand went right through her stomach, which was now translucent. "What the hell?"
Before I could even ask, I felt a punch land on my face which sent me stumbling backward. "My quirk is intangibility. I can make different parts of my body go intangible on command, but staying intangible for too long will cause that part of my body to go numb or even fall off forever since blood can't flow normally."
