11- 𝔏𝔦𝔨𝔢 𝔩𝔦𝔣𝔢 𝔞𝔫𝔡 𝔡𝔢𝔞𝔱𝔥

"Do you like it?" Taehyung asked turning his head towards jimin who was staring deep at the reflection of the moon floating in the calm lake "yeah I did" jimin inhaled a sharp breath and sat down, he held taehyung's hand and gestured him to sit down too taehyung stared at him and then at the ground covered with grass and dirt he scrunched his nose and sat down beside jimin

The wind was a bit cold because of the lake and it was soothing to jimin who was tired of living in a not bearing hot temperature of the place he was living for the past few days he was glad that he didn't melt by the heat coming from the volcano, but he didn't know he was made for fire named Kim Taehyung and burning in his love is in his fate

Jimin turned to look at taehyung but he was already looking at him "why are you looking at me?" Jimin asked nervously under the sharp gaze of the other "the moon is trying its best but I can't look away from you" taehyung brushed the strand of jimin's hair back "do you think acting nice or saying cheesy things will make me let you mate me?"

"Maybe" taehyung chuckled "you are wasting your time I won't ever let you touch me and mating me is too far" jimin stared at his face in search of any annoyance or anger but he remained calm "I waited for years I can wait for more to gain your trust, and about acting nice I don't have anything against you you're my bride why would I do something harmful to you"

"You didn't answer me why do you want to mate me?" Jimin asked again it was something he's still not aware of along with many other things, "because you're my mate and you complete me" taehyung replied jimin rolled his eyes "do you think I'm a fool? Your desperation said it's not only because of that but more"

"I have some reason that I can't tell you but believe me or not I've lived my life alone in this palace I need someone by my side who I can call mine" jimin felt a pang in his heart he wasn't someone to believe or get emotional by words but he was feeling only different for the other like he's heart abounded him and started beating for someone else

Jimin didn't answer and turned his head towards the moon and they spend hours like this alone in each other's presence not aware of the world but each other, jimin stared at the moon and taehyung at his moon, taehyung couldn't help but stare at the person who was shining in the moonlight more than the full moon

"My grace you shouldn't have gone there by yourself you can call me or the guards" jisoo said her face was covered in sweats "but I can't wait for the guards or you too come she can die dropping in that burning volcano" jimin replied patting the little kitten who was sat on his lap drinking milk "but you could've fallen too in the volcano my Queen"

"I grew up climbing mountains and more dangerous places like this, a little balcony won't bother me jisoo don't worry," jimin said assuring jisoo that climbing out of his balcony to save the kitten who was stuck in the boundary of the closed window isn't a big deal for him "but your life is more precious than this cat, my king will kill all of us if something happens to you my majesty"

"But nothing happened and your king will kill you one day so it doesn't matter if he kills you today or tomorrow, now let us have some rest" he pointed at her lips to shut her down and went to his bed with the sleeping kitten in his hand jisoo shook her head in defeat wondering how the universe makes pairs of polar opposite one is life and the other is death, one is a killer and the other is the savior

"Did he eat his dinner?" Taehyung asked slipping in his silk gown "no my lord he slept before the dinner" jisoo replied staring at her feet "don't let him sleep without eating he already got very weak because of not being fed for days" taehyung added sitting down on his bed "yes my king I will take care of that" jisoo responded with a smile on her face

"Why are you smiling?" The smile on the girl's face didn't go unnoticed by him "I've never seen you care about someone like that and the way you are treating our queen makes me happy" jisoo said raising her head from the ground "hmm... I was being impatient but then I realized I shouldn't rush things and treat him how he deserves, I have him for all myself I can claim him whenever I want but only with his consent"

Jisoo nodded her head in understanding she was happy after being jimin's shadow she get to know the real him and she was worried about the kind soul who was too pure for his king knowing he will leave him after using him for gaining his powers back but now seeing the changes in taehyung's behavior and his words make her worries vanished away

Jimin was sitting on the couch thinking about the other male, the changes in taehyung's behavior after that horrible night were visible enough and every little thing by the other was making his heart race and he was confused he hated the man but in his heart, a word like hate was removed for taehyung or maybe it never existed as it was made for feeling everything but hate for him

The knock on the door snapped him out of his thoughts and the previously mentioned male walked in wearing a black hanbok that was suiting his tan skin a lot "did I disturb you?" He asked sitting Infront of jimin "yes" he replied sounding a little sour for the other's sweet tone

"Looks like you are liking this place a lot," taehyung said looking at the kitten sitting in jimin's lap that he saved some days ago "hmm... but not more than you, you are my favorite here" jimin replied he was bothered by his kindness it was easier to live hating him and cursing him for his cruel behavior but now he's out of things to hate him and being angry at him except what he does to him before

"I'm glad to be your favorite" taehyung replied "why are you being so nice? I know this isn't you stop acting nice" jimin suddenly raised his voice letting out his annoyance and it was a little too louder "do not raise your voice at me! I'm not nice but I'm trying to be good for you because I don't want you to hate me i- I don't want you to abandon me like everyone else cause I'm too dark for them"

Taehyung shouted back losing his patience "I know I'm a monster but this is who I am and no matter how many times you deny it you are the Queen of monsters, bride of a monster" he took a deep breath clenching his fists "I came here to tell that your mother is sick and I will take you to her if you behave but now I think I should stop acting nice" jimin shot his head up "what?" he quickly spoke his act of earlier vanishing away as if never existed "n-no please" his voice was now soft and vulnerable

Before jimin could say further taehyung left the room, tears started to run out of his eyes down to his cheeks as guilt started to eat him he lost the opportunity to go back home to his mother to his friends, he shouldn't have acted this way even if taehyung was acting nice it wasn't harming him then why the thought of it was bothering him that he reacted like that maybe it was out of fear to get attached to him and his kind self

And the thought of losing someone he is attached to, because he lost everyone he ever had and he knows the pain of missing someone or the times he used to spend with them, and now he's afraid, afraid of relying on someone afraid of getting attach to someone at the point his heart craved for just one glance of the other, he dropped down on the floor clenching his heart as the image of his mother comes in his head.
