Homophobes (angst)

Whitley's Pov:

            They knew. The jocks knew. They knew I was dating Paige. You could get beat up for that crap here and they knew. We walked together all of the time because they were scared of Lily and Sophia. Today they had to go with Paige on the bus leaving me all alone. We were supposed to meet at Paige's house for a sleepover. I made it halfway there before I heard them. Oh no. They had found me. "Hey fag!" they yelled. "How 'bout you come here so you can pay the homo toll." "Nope. You don't get anything from me." I yelled. Bad idea. "I see you don't have your bodyguards here with you. That means we have free right to beat you up." Oh god. They ran over and kicked me to the ground. They punched me in the nose, which almost knocked me out. They slammed their books into my gut making me nauseous. I almost stood up when they stabbed a pencil into my hand making me cry out in pain. The bus. The thing that saved my life. Paige, Lily, and Sophia ran off the bus as fast as they could. Lily screamed "GET OFF OF HER NOW" as she punched them. Sophia joined her while Paige ran over to me to check if I was okay. "WHITLEY ARE YOU OKAY?!?!?!?!" she yelled worried "mhm" I muttered. I wasn't of course, but I didn't want to worry her. "I know you aren't ok. Just tell me the truth darling." She knew that I couldn't resist those eyes. "Fine, I'm not okay. Everything hurts. Especially my hand." "Oh my god. I-" "PAIGE" I yelled. One of the guys had gotten up and pulled her hair back causing her to scream in pain. I took all of the strength I had left and punched him as hard as I could in the face. He fell back in pain as I fell into Paige's arms. "Are you okay?" I asked worriedly. "Yeah, I'm alright. That hurt a lot though." She answered. Lily and Sophia had just stood up from fighting them and winning. They high-fived and yelled at them "RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN YOU CAN'T ESCAPE US WERE THE NON MEN" "Omg they are so crazy" Paige said laughing. She picked me up bridal style as I winced from the pain "Sorry" Paige said. "It's ok." "Did ya'll see that? We beat them to next Christmas. And it's January!" Lily said "Yeah we did" Sophia said back. "We weren't looking because I was trying to make sure Whitley didn't die," Paige said. "Well did she?" Lily asked sarcastically. "No. But that's, not the point." Paige answered. "It's okay darling, yes I saw. I thank you all for saving me." OMG SHE JUST CALLED PAIGE DARLING SOPHIA!!!!!" Lily said with a high-pitched voice. "OMG, SHE DID IM FANGIRLING!!!!!" Paige and I rolled our eyes, and we walked inside to get me bandaged up, and to enjoy our sleepover.
