Love and Lust.

Love, he who is waiting for the one who will help him with life.
Lust, she who has threatened him with a knife, pleading to be his wife.
Love, he who is tired of Lust's constant cries for his attention.
Lust, she who stays up late pleading for his affection.

Love, he who feels sorry for her.
Lust, she whose delusions are making her mind become a blur.
Love, he who wants to ask her why she feels this way.
Lust, she who wants to tell him about the last male who left her as a stray.

Love, he who says 'Hi' and smiles to make her feel a bit better.
Lust, she who blushes around him as she starts to stutters.
Love, he who wonders why she choose him.
Lust, she who has yet to tell him: "Because you make my life feel less dim."

Love and Lust, two who are similar yet different.
Yet this still gets mixed up in the present.
As people's knowledge keeps getting more and more absent.
