As the days went on, Krein learned more and more. He had learned to read, write, and speak properly. He trained in sword fighting with the royal knights, he learned to calculate numbers and rule the kingdom.
The queen however, would read through the magic book, and learn spells. She knew how to make potions and curse others.
In the day, she was a queen, ruling kindly over her kingdom, but in the night, she learned spells, and practiced them until she got it perfect.
To test out the potions and curses, she would go down to the dungeons while Krein was sleeping, and make the prisoners her subjects.
Her mind became corrupt, seeking out power. She was a master of magic, an evil wizard.
She began to make small creatures that wouldn't be noticeable, like cats or birds. She tested the limit of the power the book gave her, only to find that it was nonexistent. There was no limit. It was endless and unwavering.
The queen then went to show her son, who looked at the orange tabby cat in her arms and smiled, excited. He named it Prince
He did not know of her dabbles in dark magic, but knew of the evil that came from it.
A few weeks later, Krein finds that Prince had ran away! He goes out in search for it, but to no avail. Krein travels up to the highest mountain after two more days of searching.
And there, he finds Prince in a warm shelter, shielded away from the cold.

"Where is he!?" Kaeya burst into Jean's office, Lisa already in there, the two chatting away.
Kaeya had woken up the day after Albedo had gotten his geo vision, finding the boy not with him.
"Where's who?" Jean asked, slightly panicked at Kaeya's franticness.
"Albedo! He wasn't with me when I woke up. Do you know where he is?" The captain said. Lisa perked up.
"We didn't see him. Do you know where he possible could have gone?" The electro vision user asked, trying to de-escalate the situation.
"N-no. I don't. Maybe in town? We went to Windrise yesterday, maybe he's there?" Kaeya said, ready to slaughter.
"It's alright, Kaeya. We'll find him. Jean, can we get some of the knights to look for him. Around Windrise and Mondstadt?" Lisa asked, turning to the headmaster.
"Of course. I'll go out and personally look for him. Is there anywhere else you two went yesterday?"
"Nowhere I can think of." Kaeya breathed heavily. "Maybe... No, he couldn't possibly be there..."
"Where?" Lisa asked quietly, her curiosity piqued.
"I was thinking maybe Dragonspine. The journal entries we read said that their research took place there. But... Albedo wouldn't remember it, right? Plus, it's too cold for him up there." Kaeya explained, still worried about the boy. If they couldn't find him anywhere else, they would go look up there as a desperate search.
"I'll go gather some knights to look for him around town. Kaeya, go look for him in town. Me and Lisa will look around the outskirts of Mondstadt." Jean said, concerned for her friend and the well-being of Albedo.
"Okay. I'm going to go now. I need to find him. He could get severely hurt and he doesn't even know how to control his vision." Kaeya finished and ran out of the door, not caring if people looked at him like he was crazy for calling out Albedo's name.
