Moments later, Awake In Me, Sierra G, and Ernie Miller arrive, and head into the practice room. Two security guards arrive, one woman, and one man. It vaguely reminds me of the afternoon that Mom drove me to the spy agency headquarters, and Chris and Katrina met me at the entrance.
The first group of fans that arrive are three girls, chattering away excitedly. I consult the clipboard and ask the fans a couple of questions.
"Okay...your names are Lenina Croulx, Willow Castaldi, and Katie Chan?" I ask. They nod in response. "Here to see Awake In Me, Sierra G, and Ernie Miller?" They say yes in response. "Bring 'em in," I say to Maddie, as I push the crowd control post aside, so the girls can get through. Maddie walks them over to the practice room, and returns.
"The looks on their faces when they met the band, Sierra G, and Ernie Miller..." says Maddie, once she returns. "They kept squealing in really high pitched voices."
"Well, we weren't like that when we first met Awake In Me," I reply. "We were just like 'Hi, nice to meet you', and...yeah." Maddie nods in agrement, and I look at the line of fans.
There are about 20 or so people. Whoa, do these people arrive early. Or maybe they're enthusiastic to meet the celebs. Most of them are girls, but I see a small group of boys at the back.
----------------------------------------
Fifteen minutes later, the first three girls that came for the meet and greet have left, and several more people are in the practice room, meeting Awake In Me, Sierra G, and Ernie Miller. The line's slowly getting longer and longer.
"Okay..." I mutter, consulting my clipboard, and crossing off some names. "Tell the two girls meeting Awake In Me that time's up, and I'll ask you to bring in a couple more people after." Maddie leaves, and returns with nobody.
"They don't want to leave," Maddie grumbles. "I told them a hundred people were waiting outside-" I raise my eyebrows in confusion, and Maddie continues, "Well, I was just exaggerating, just so they'd get out. They still won't get out."
"Let me drag them out. You stay here with the clipboard," I suggest. I thrust the clipboard and pen into Maddie's arm, make sure I have my megaphone, and I walk into the practice room to get those people out.
Two girls around my age or older are squealing excitedly at the band. One of them's clinging on to Dan's arm, the other girl's clinging on to Preston's arm. Neither Dan nor Preston looks too enthusiastic, and Michael and Owen can't do anything.
I nickname the girl clinging onto Dan's arm Brunette, and the girl clinging onto Preston's arm Braids, because her hair is in two braids.
Me: "Um, excuse me, time's up. Can you please leave?"
Brunette: "Never..."
Me: "We have a whole crowd of people waiting to meet Awake In Me as well. You're going to cause us trouble if you don't leave."
Braids: "It's not causing us trouble now..."
Me: "Please. I said the magic word. Now will you please leave?"
Brunette: "No..."
Me: "Okay, can you please leave? My patience is running thin, and if I have to tell you to leave again, it will turn NASTY."
Braids: "My dream has come true...I don't want it to end."
Me: (pulls out megaphone and turns it on) "SECURITY!!!!"
(Everyone in the room cringes except for me. Security guards appear at the door instantly.)
Me: "You have two options. Either you leave right now, or I will ask security to personally drag you out of the room. Now, est-ce que vous comprenez?"
