Mary's POV:

3 days later, I woke up to Peter's hand on my face. I decided it was time to help him get less clingy so he can sleep in his own bed.

I picked up sleeping Peter and walked downstairs. I saw Bucky and Natasha. "Mom? Dad?" I asked. They looked at me, "Yes?" they asked. "I wanna help Peter become less clingy today," I said. "Why?" Bucky asked confused. "He never walks anymore because he never wants to let go of me, and he sleeps in my bed every night," I said. "Okay. How do you wanna do it?" Natasha asked. "I wanna try and leave the room without him when he's awake," I said. Natasha and Bucky nodded and I gently woke Peter up. "Hey, baby. Good morning." I said as he rubbed his eyes looking around.

Me, Peter, Natasha, and Bucky walked into my room. Bucky and Natasha sat on my bed and I sat Peter on the floor. "Mommy's gotta go for a while okay? Stay here." I said and walked out the door shutting it behind me.

Bucky's POV:

As soon as Mary left the room Peter bolted up running towards it. He reached up but it was locked. He started whining and then tried the door again. "Mommy!" He started to get upset. I felt bad for him, but he needed to learn before it got very bad. "MOMMY!" He started crying. "MOMMY! COME BACK!!" He cried. He then fell onto his butt and started having a tantrum. "MOMMA!" he screamed crying. I started crying a bit but it was silent.

Mary's POV:

I heard Peter crying and yelling. I broke down into little cries. I opened the door fast and he ran into my arms. He sobbed into my chest as I cried. "I'm sorry baby..." I said while rubbing his back. He hiccuped and kissed my cheek. "Momma! Never lweave again..." he cried. "I won't, I'm sorry my little maimuţă..." I cried (Monkey). It broke my heart to see Peter cry like that. Bucky and Natasha walked up to me as I held Peter in my arms now standing up. "Good job," Natasha said kissing my forehead. I smiled. I still felt horrible though. I saw Bucky crying and I wiped his tears. "Don't cry dad," I said. He smiled slightly. They both walked out of my room.

Peter wouldn't leave my side for the rest of the day. He forgave me but was paranoid that I was gonna disappear in thin air every second. He walked everywhere with me. The bathroom, kitchen, living room, bedroom, and he would sit outside the shower every time I had one. I felt bad for him.

It's been 2 weeks since we've moved in and he hasn't spoken to anyone here but me. I've thought about putting him in public school, but I didn't want to risk it. Maybe when he's older, 10 maybe.

My thoughts were interrupted by a poke in my face. I looked down and saw Peter looking up at me with wide eyes. I looked up and saw people laughing entering the room. I smiled back at Peter and told him it was okay. He crawled onto my lap and hid his face in my side. Bruce, Steve, Bucky, Sam, Tony, Thor, Wanda, Natasha, and some blonde girl walked in. "Mary. This is Sharon, she's a SHIELD agent. Sharon this is Mary. Natasha and Bucky's daughter." Steve introduced us. I nodded at her and she did the same back.

Everyone sat down. Bruce and Wanda sat beside me and Peter moved more into me. He didn't like strangers. To him they were. "Hi there," Wanda said with a smile to Peter. Peter smiled slightly and waved to her. I smiled at their interaction. "Hey, Mary?" My da- Bucky started to say something. "Yes?" I asked. "We're having a party tonight. Your invite and Peter of course. If you'd like?" I nodded, "Sure dad. That would be good." I said. He nodded and said, "It's a normal party so... normal clothes, like everyday wear." He said nervously. "Okay," I said smirking while nodding. "It's in 3 hours in the main living room," Tony said. I nodded, "Okay. I... we'll be there."

They nodded as I got up and took Peter into our room to get ready.
