Toshinori POV

This poor child. That's the only thought running through my mind, but I know I can't take him in. Inko would find out eventually, and I didn't want to be here when she did. If what Izuk- err, Zenitzu said was true, this was probably a massive misunderstanding.

But this kid. He didn't even smile, or show any emotions, but I could tell he had taken a liking to me, and I like him as well. We've barely met each other, but I think of him as the son I never had, except that he was an abused and neglected child. And to top it off, he was quirkless. He had given me the basics of something he had discovered a long time ago.
It was an ancient war art, one of the strongest of the many powerful "Lost Arts", if not the strongest. It was used to commit genocide to an ancient species of monsters, which were the ones who created quirks.
He wouldn't tell me what it was, because he wanted only people who have suffered. After a long chat, in which I slipped out about oneforall, to which he definitely heard, bit didn't pry. Its now time for him to leave. He knows a place to go to, but he won't tell me. And, well, here we are, at the door outside, saying your goodbyes. But before he left, he stopped, turned around, and spoke in that same monotone voice, but it had a tint of sadness to it.

"The next time you see me, Yagi-san, will be at the UA University entrance exam. See you then."

Zenitzu POV

I walked away from the apartment complex, and towards home. My old one, that is. As I slowly walked away from the city, I thought about how I should start training. I thought it would be best if I started by running up and down the mountain, having the townspeople set up traps to increase my awareness. After several hours walking, I decided to start running, to increase my speed and stamina.

Several hours later

I finally made it. After hours of running, and by that, I mean eight hours, I finally made it home. My body was burning all over, but with my lungs were the worst. They weren't used to this pressure, so they burnt. Oh well.
After spending about half an hour catching my breath, I pulled out an empty letter case. I immediately sealed it, and pulled out a pen. I immediately wrote the UA insignia on it, in the exact spot as it was supposed to be in.
Sighing, I walked into the stone path. Once I made it to the house, I pressed the doorbell. After waiting several minutes, the door opened, revealing the nurse that helped me when I woke up.
"Excuse me ma'am, but is this the Agatsuma residence?" I asked in a formal voice, making her wince. How........Suspicious.
"N-No sir. This is the Kocho residence. Do you need anything from us?" "Are you sure, ma'am, this is definitely the proper residence. Because, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Kocho residence is thirty kilometers from here, in the butterfly mansion." She released a breath, before Launching herself at me. My hand, almost by instincts, went to her face as she pulled out a katana and attempted to slash my face.
I quickly slid my head to the left, dodging the cut, fully slamming my fist into her face, forcing her backwards. I threw a right hook to her ribs, with her blocking it just in time, throwing her left leg at my face. I leaned into a backflip, landing and sweeping at her legs. It knocked her backwards. Taking the chance, I jumped up, spun around, and slammed my foot into her ribcage. I rushed at her, blocking several punches thrown at me, throwing a chop at her neck. She saw it, and kneed me in my right thigh.
Gritting my teeth in pain, I Pushed my body forward, through her attack, before grabbing her shoulders. I jumped upward, before pulling her shoulders towards me, with the rest of her body following. I then slammed my head into hers, causing a crack reverberate around the mountain. She fell down, her mouth foaming slightly. I jumped over her shoulder and swung around, putting her into a quick headlock.

"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" I questioned when she woke up. She sighed. "I will tell you, when you let me go" "So you can run away, no thanks. Tell me, or I'll break you wrists!" "I'd like to see you try!" She shouted at me. I tightened my grip on her wrists, a loud crack coming from it. She yelped. "Are you ready to talk yet? Your other wrist looks very vulnerable." She growled. I started putting pressure on her broken wrist, making her yelp again. "OKAY! Okay." She whimpered.
"My name is Kocho Shinobu. Now could you let me go?" "The insect hashira?" "Not anymore. Would you believe me if I said that I was reincarnated?" "Bull! How dare you claim to be a hashira! If you were, I would already be dead!" She growled. "My name really is Shinobu! If you don't believe me, let me have my nichiran blade back!" Fine. If that's how we're playing this, I can do the same. "If you are really Kocho Shinobu, you will answer several questions! Who invented the seventh form of thunder breathing?" "Zenitsu Agatsuma." She answered. "What was the name of the breathing technique Kamado Tanjiro used?" "Water and himokage kagura." "What was Tomioka Giyuu's favorite food?" "Salmon Daikon!" Hmmmmm. Perhaps. She was, but. "What was the line that 'you' used when talking to Tomioka Giyuu?" She blushed slightly. " I said, 'Isn't the moon is lovely tonight, Tomioka-san?'''

"You really are alive, Shinobu-nii, huh?"

Shinobu POV

'Shinobu-nii'? The only person who said that was... Zenitsu?
"Zenitsu?" "Not anymore," he responded, "I don't want my real name to be exposed, for I have a bad history." What?  I sized him up, but couldn't find anything. The must have noticed my gaze, because he let go of me, took a step back, and removed his shirt. He...... What happened to him?
He ripped his shirt in half, before grabbing my hand. I felt my face heating up, for some reason. He wrapped my hand up, before walking up to the door. "This is my house now. If you want a room, just ask." He stated. Before he arrived at the opened at the door, he turned his seemingly permanent glare towards me. W

"Just call me Zenitzu. I don't my name mixed up with anyone else from back then. Zenitzu Tomioka." He walked in, and shut the door behind him.
Tomioka?

Seven months later

Zenitzu really is a mix between Tomioka-san and Zenitsu, but mostly Tomioka. He is like that to the point its annoying. He expresses his confusion about some things, and isn't as dense as Tomioka-san (I actually had to google What this means)  but still is, and he doesn't scream, or seem Like he has any interest in girls.
Its like Zenitsu and Tomioka-san have matured into a proper fusion, like that anime they make us watch. Its actually entertaining sometimes.
But I'm worried about his health. He always trains until the collapses and he is pretty heavy. He is a true prodigy when it comes to learning thunder breathing. He spends about a month for each technique, with the exception of 'rice spirit' It took him only half a month to master that, oddly. He is now learning the seventh form, but he just can't seem to go past godspeed. The thinks that this is because he hasn't mastered 'total concentration breathing-constant' so he is now trying to Train on the top of the highest mountain nearby to train, so here I am, dragging him down the mountain before he collapses, and by now he Doesn't fight back.

Flashback

"Let me go, Kocho! I still need to train!" "I'd rather not have to deal another hungry bear attacking a collapsed boy who overtrained" He blushed slightly at the thought of being seen in a state like that, and shut up.

End of Flashback

As I was dragging this over trainer, an awkward experience occurred. It was a hobo looking guy with a scarf around his neck, and looking like he was tired of life.

"Kocho san will explain our situation, won't you?" I sighed. I need to drink more coffee.
