LAURON'S POV

I didnt wanna do that

Like i said, Jinx was okay (kinda crazy) but that didnt mean i wanted to stay with her while i recovered

but Silco didnt care, so i had to stay with her

"So what exactly is this?" i asked Jinx as i lifted up some metal thing with a neon face drawn on it

"I dunno, probably a bomb," she said without looking up from where she was working

i couldnt help but admire how she worked. she was so sloppy it was neat. she kept everything where she knew where it was but it didnt look organized at all. And the way her hair fell into her face as she worked was almost...

Nope, shut up Lauron

"Hm," i said i as laid it back down on the table and looked around. She had a couch with, well i wasnt sure what they were, but they kind of looked like mannequins? but like they were meant to be specific people, "So why do you make these things?" i asked her.

"idk, i just do. ive always made stuff like this." she held up something and took hee goggles off to look at it, "but i can hardly ever perfect it."

She put her goggles back on and went back to working and i just stood there, leaning on my crutch for balance, staring at her. The way she moved was so mesmorizing that i didnt notice when she glanced at me, catching me staring, and smirked, but quickly went back to her gadgets with a smile.

I eventually fell out of my trance and began to look around again. i decided to go walk around a bit, even though i probably shouldnt, but as i turned around and began to leave i felt a tug on my shirt

"You aren't supposed to leave, remember?," I turned around and saw she was staring at me with those big eyes of hers, and the look sent butterflies into my stomach but i ignored it

"I-I just wanted to walk around a bit, stretch my legs y'know?" She held eye contact with me for a while before blinking and turning back around, "Yeah, i suppose thats alright," she said, "just dont go out and get even more injured. last thing i want is to get yelled at."

i blinked at that last statement. i couldnt believe that silco could be capable of yelling at his precious daughter.

Thats when i remembered, i hate her for that.

Well, maybe i hate Silco instead of her.

"Okay, i won't," i turned around and made my way out of her room and walked to my room. When i made it,i changed clothes and i lied down on my bed, closing my eyes, but before i knew it, i had fallen asleep

JINX'S POV:

"I wonder if shes alright," i muttered and turned towards the door. I didn't want to go looking for her but i was in charge of her and should know where she is.

Then the thought of her staring at me earlier popped in my mind again. The way she was so captivated by me working and her hopeless look, i had to admit it was kinda cute.

I could feel my face heat up a little as i stood up to go find her.

I walked out and checked everywhere. Only place to check now was her room, she was probably there.

I knocked before entering but there was no response so i opened the door. There she laid on the bed, sleeping. I instantly felt my face heat up when i noticed how she looked. She'd taken her eyepatch off and took her hair down, having her purple locks flowing into her face. She'd changed out of her usual dark gray coat, green shirt, and black cargo pants and had on gray sweatpants and a pink tanktop. it was practically see through-

I turned around and decided to leave her be, let her sleep. I eased the door closed and turned and suddenly Sevika was there.

"Wheres Lauron?" Sevika asked, crossing her arms.

"Tch, asleep. Why else would i have closed her door like that?"

"Watch your mouth, girl. Just because Silco thinks you're so amazing, doesn't mean you're the shit."

I knew she didnt like me so i wasnt really fazed by the comment. i was used to it.

"Hm." I just looked up at her, she simply glared back.

She walked away, and i went back to my room. Thinking about the sight i just saw of Lauron, making my stomach feel weird.

sorry it took a but to update, but heres a short update for the time being
