Jinxed- Jinx x OC

Silco grabbed his injector and sighed as he held it up to his eye.

"Here," Jinx says, roughly grabbing it from his hand,"Let me help."

She shoved his head back and grabbed his jaw forcefully and sat herself on his lap while I leaned next to the door. I decided to go outside of the room because I didn't want her dragging me into this. I didn't even really want to help her with this in the first place.

I stood outside and closed the door behind me and leaned against the wall beside it for what felt like forever.

When she finally came out of the room, she was wiping the tears from her eyes.

"C'mon," she said,"We are going somewhere."

"And you expect me to follow you, why?" I mumbled before pushing myself off the wall to stand up straight, following her.

"Look," she sighed and turned around to block me from walking further and I wind up running into her. I can tell my face was probably incredibly red from the contact making me blush but I swear her face seemed red too.

She patted my shoulder and cleared her throat before continuing what she had been saying, "I get you hate me, but I don't have anyone else."

I stared in her eyes and saw how sad she looked.

"And I trust you more than anyone, too, so, I want you to trust me," she said grabbing my hand and I didn't pull away. I don't know who was more surprised about me not pulling away, me or her.

"Oh, uh," I stumbled over my words before taking my hand from hers and rubbing the back of my neck while looking at the ground, "What do you need me to do?"

I looked up at her to see her smiling, and I glimpse at her lips before looking back at her eyes, she does the same and I clear my throat.

"Oh, well, first things first," she said turning around and walking away as I follow, "We gotta get that fancy rock."

We sat on the bridge, waiting, and Jinx and I were talking.

Not our usual, you know, annoying the hell out of one another.

It was a genuine conversation.

It'd been a long time since we had one. We used to be incredibly close back before I realized she stole Silco from me, but now, I don't even care about that.

I just care about her.

I guess you could say I like her.

But I don't know how to just act different towards her so I've been keeping up my act of hating her.

She snapped her fingers and I immediately looked at her and she had a concerned look in her eyes but a small smile on her lips.

"Hello? Who are you and what have you done with Lauron?" She said and I smiled and shook my head looking down at the three people on the bridge. Jinx's eyes followed mine and our smiles disappeared.

I watched as Caitlyn and Vi hugged goodbyes and a guy Jinx called Ekko stood near them.

I began to climb down and Jinx followed me. But as soon as my feet touched the ground of the bridge I was shot in the arm. I looked around to find who shot me and I found no one other than the 3 we were after.

"Oh, God, are you okay?" Jinx whispered asking me and I nodded and sat down and tore some fabric from my jacket to tie around my shoulder.

"Go," I whispered to her and she ran off. I was losing alot of blood but I'd be alright, I just sat there, not paying attention to anything around me except my thoughts.

"Told you that you're useless."

I shook my head to make the voice shut up but it just kept talking.

"You're not fit for this, L. You're too weak. I mean, you couldn't even save your family."

I knew it was just the voices but it still hurt to hear, and to know he's correct.

Then there was a whole lot of explosions.

My head snapped in the direction of where Jinx's Bombs went off and I immediately stood. I waited for the last ones to go off and ran into the smoke to find a busted up Jinx. I knelt next to her trying to figure out what to do as tears started flowing from my eyes. I picked her up and felt as even more blood came from my wound and gave Caitlyn and Vi a glance before running off with the blue haired girl.

I found Silco while I was running and handed Jinx off to him and fell as he ran off with her, the blood loss making me dizzy.

I shut my eyes as I laid up against whatever wall I was against and felt someone grab my shoulder before I went off to sleep.
