t : *Taylor lets out a laugh before continuing* all right all right. I've been having a hard time adjusting I had the shiniest wheels now they're rusting I didnt know if you'd care if i came back i had alotof regrets about that.
Dorothea silenced herself as Taylor sang elegantly. And jesus was Taylor so good at her damn job as a singer and song writer. Dorothea freezes as she continued to listen to Taylor sing the so called first verse, but Dorothea thought she could add a little something to the verse.
t : *Taylor looks up from her piano and looks at Dorothea making her smile * so.. what do you think about that first verse?
d : it was actually good just that I think you could add a little more to it.
d : maybe like..
d : wait I had something and then I forgot it give me a second hold up.
Taylor let out a laughed at how Dorothea could forget the lyrics she wanted to let Taylor know within two minutes. Dorothea got to her piano that she had in her room and started to get the melody to the sing before thinking on what the lyrics she had forgotten were.
d : OH OH I GOT IT MAYBE SOMETHING LIKE 'pulled the car off the road to the lookout , could've followed my fears all the way down and maybe I dont quite know what to say but im here in your doorway'
d : *Dorothea looks up from the piano to see Taylor intentively looking at her.* and I was thinking maybe the chorus could be 'I just wanted you to know that this is me trying. I just wanted you to know that this is me trying.'
d : wait. What is this song ahout I have no idea what it's about so I just went with the flow.
t : well.. I— I guess this song is about you know drug addicts and people who are struggling with their mental health you know and no one pats their backs and you never know how hard they are trying to get through the day without going back to maybe their old ways so this is kinda dedicated to those who are struggling ( i know this is not exactly qouted from folklore long pond session it's because i dont want to exactly qoute it for future chapters.)
d : yeah I get it I used to be depressed as fuck but you know I'm doing better than I ever was (i fr hope yall can tell what i just did😭)
t : I'm glad you're doing better now dorbear. don't be afraid to come to me when you're feeling down all right?
