I tried to ask my mom if she had the same lingering feeling that we should leave, but she seemed dazed.. almost as if she was completely clueless, and she had no idea what I was talking about.

This made me start to wonder if we were actually in Hawaii.

I went around and started to ask all the others about it, but they all seemed addled by this new and exhilarating land we were on; so dazed- that it was almost as if they weren't truly themselves...

I realized that Mckinlee seemed to notice their peculiar trance-like state of mind after she pulled me off to the side to talk while were stopping to use the restroom inside the convenience store; located near the abnormal airport we had visited before.

"Cedar", she murmured, eyes full of desperate worry, "We need to
talk."

"There is something seriously wrong here, but nobody else seems to
notice it- it's almost as if- they are a different person.," she continued,
in a concerned tone.

"I know, I noticed that too-" I responded.

"My mom seems to have it the worst; which doesn't even make sense..,"
I resumed, " Why does she have it the worst out of all of us?"

Suddenly, everyone came out of the bathroom.

We both tensed up. I felt Mckinlee put her hand over my mouth as she
leaned close to my ear, and told me to not speak about it with anyone
else.
Because....
We don't have a single clue as to what's going on yet.

Yep thanks for reading I hoped you enjoyed
