"How is Nick not awake yet? It's literally twelve-thirty in the afternoon." Clay sighed, sitting downstairs with George, Karl and Alex. Clay and Nick had planned to go to lunch at a nearby café, but Nick hadn't woken up. "Not sure. Should you go wake him up?" George asked. "Well I mean, if he doesn't he's gonna cancel the date!" Karl laughed. "For the last time Karl, it's not a date! We're just getting lunch." Clay said, annoyed. Karl and Alex had kept riling him up for the past hours, because they kept saying Clay was going on a "date" with Nick. "You suureeee?" Alex said, before laughing with Karl. "Hundred and four percent sure. Now I'm gonna go wake Nick up." Clay muttered, practically fuming. He walked off, going upstairs to wake up Nick.

Clay quietly opened the door to see Nick still sleeping, wrapped up in warm blankets. He smiled to himself, walking over to Nick's bed. He gently shook Nick to see if he would wake up. No response. Clay shook him a little bit harder, this time waking up Nick. Nick rubbed his eyes, slowly adjusting to the bright lights. "Good morning, sleepyhead. It's twelve-thirty in the afternoon!" Clay laughed, smiling. "Morning. Is- is it actually 12:30?" Nick mumbled, half asleep. "Well yeah, we were going out to lunch too." Clay said, sighing. "Shit, we were! I can get ready if you still wanna go?" Nick asked, waking up more. "I'm down! I'll leave a little bit early so we can get a table, it's normally pretty busy around this time." Clay laughed. "Easy. I'll get changed in a sec." Nick smiled, sitting up. "Alright, see you then! I'll message you when I'm leaving." Clay laughed, leaving the room and walking back downstairs.

"I just woke him up, I'm gonna leave in a second because it's gonna be pretty busy, have to get a table." Clay sighed, the others with adoring looks on their faces. "What? It's not like it's a date." He mumbled. "But it is! You two are so adorable together, I swear. Why aren't you dating already?" Karl asked, confused. "Well, I just- I don't think- never mind." Clay stumbled with his words. "Tell us! Tell us!" Alex laughed. "Fine. I just- I just don't think he likes me back, and I don't want anything like that to come between us. Besides, what if- what if he doesn't like me in that way, and then we just stop talking? I don't want anything bad to happen ." Clay mumbled, his cheeks going slightly red. "Clay, you've known him for 7 years now. I can promise you even if he doesn't like you back, you'll still be best friends. And you've got to think about it, you guys have good chemistry. Like, it's some romantic shit." George said, stifling a laugh. Clay sighed. "Well, true, but-" "No buts. Now go get him!" George laughed, jokingly pushing Clay. "Alright alright, I'll see you guys later." Clay said, opening the front door and walking out.

Around 10 minutes later, Nick ran downstairs. "Where's Clay? Has he gone already?" Nick said, puffed from running. "Yeah, he's already left." George laughed. "Do you remember the plan?" George and Nick had talked a couple nights ago, planning for Nick to tell Clay about his feelings. "Yeah, I'm nervous but not much can go wrong, right?" Nick smiled. "That's the spirit. Now go get your boyfriend!" George giggled. "He's not my boyfriend!" Nick sighed. "Yet!" Karl cracked up laughing as Nick walked out of the door.

While Clay was waiting for Nick, a girl walked over to him. "Hey there~" she said with a flirty tone, winking. "Uhm, hi?" Clay sighed, slightly annoyed. "How about you come home with me, we can have some fun~" She smirked, tracing Clay's jawline with her finger. "I'm uh- I'm gay, so no." Clay said sternly, realizing what her intentions were. "I don't mind, gives me more fun~" she said, pulling Clay's face closer to hers. "I do mind, go aw-" Clay said, before he was pulled into a kiss by the girl. He tried to pull away from the kiss, but the girl's grip on him was strong.
