"Fucking finally! It's been like 10 minutes, what were you guys doing?" Alex asked, seeing Nick and Clay walk downstairs. "Probably making out." George laughed, not looking up from his phone. "What if we were?" Clay smirked. He laughed at the others reactions, everyone looking absolutely terrified, including Nick. "I'm obviously kidding. Just had to get changed and shit." "Sure you did." Alex sneered. "Anyways, let's unwrap presents!"

Everyone sat in a circle on the floor of the living room, presents in the middle of them. "Let's open this one first, it's to.. Karl!" George smiled, handing the present to Karl. It was a small box wrapped in purple wrapping paper. "From Alex! Hoping it's not another avocado." Karl laughed, tearing the wrapping paper. It was a cardboard box. Karl opened the box, wondering what was inside. Inside was a small mug, with Karl's swirl logo on it. "Woah! This is actually cool! Thanks Alex." Karl giggled, looking at the mug. "Look inside of it!" Alex snickered, a smirk on his face. "Is that- is that a fucking avocado!?" Karl burst out in laughter. "MAYBE-" Alex cracked up. After Alex finished laughing, George picked up the next present.

"Next one is to.. Nick! It's from your boyfriend." George laughed, handing the small box wrapped in orange wrapping paper to Nick. "He's not my- whatever. Thanks." Nick mumbled, taking the box from George and opening it. Inside was a small piece of paper, and a necklace. The necklace looked like it was half a heart, like there could be another half. The necklace was a glossy neon green, which was obviously Clay's favourite colour. "This necklace is cool! Thanks!" Nick smiled. He picked up the piece of paper, which was folded in half, and opened it. Inside was a note, and in messy hand writing it said;

"hey, check the closet from 7 mins of heaven. hope you like it < 3 - clay"

God, this couldn't be good. "It says to check in the closet. I'll go have a look, I'll be back in a sec." Nick sighed, standing up. "I'll come with you." Clay smirked, standing up and walking over to Nick. The two walked off, going to see what was in the closet.

"Alright, I'll cover your eyes and count down." Clay smiled, putting his hand over Nick's eyes as he opened the door to the closet. "Alright, threeeeee, twooooo..." Clay counted incredibly slow. "Hurry up!" Nick laughed. "One!" Clay said, taking his hands away from Nick's eyes. In front of Nick was a massive panda plushie sitting in the middle of the room. "No way! That's so cool!" Nick ran over to the bear, picking it up. "Knew you'd like it." Clay smirked. "It's so soooooft." Nick mumbled happily. "Thank you." He laughed, walking over to Clay and hugging him. "You're welcome." Clay smiled, hugging Nick. "Should we go back to the others?" "Yup, let's go." Nick laughed, picking up the bear and walking out.

"Welcome back! Nice bear." Alex smirked, high fiving Karl. "Thanks! I really like this bear. And the necklace is cool too!" Nick laughed. "It looks cool!" George grinned, looking over at Alex and giving him that look, almost as if to say "they definitely like each other" without saying anything at all. Clay saw this, rolling his eyes, but still having a smile on his face.

"Alright, well I think we should open the rest of the presents and we can get onto the fun stuff!" Clay sighed with a smile, giving Alex a dirty side-eye. Alex simply smirked, rolling his eyes. "Alrighty then!" George laughed.

After all the presents were open, about an hour had gone by. Karl had ended up with a handful of books (and other things, of course; his friends aren't middle aged mums), Alex was given card decks and poker chips galore, George had gotten a hoodie, new clout goggles, and a couple pillows, and Clay had been given a stuffed plushie of his iconic blob mascot.

The one special thing Clay got, however, was something he bought for himself. It was two necklaces that when put together, formed a heart. He had gotten it customised to have one side green, and one side orange. He obviously gave the green side to Nick, and Clay wore the orange side of the heart. It was almost like saying "we'll be friends forever" or some sweet message like that. Clay didn't really think of a true meaning for it, it was just something sweet he would get for his friend- or boyfriend?

"What should we do now?" Alex asked, looking up at the others. "We could watch Christmas movies? 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' is really good." Clay laughed.

(a/n: THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS IS SO FUCKING GOOD. I LOVE JACK SKELLINGTON SO FUCKIN MUCH OFKDMGSDNJIHUOSREAJLKDFNSGDHIUEAWJKD)

"I love that movie!" Nick said hastily, looking up from his phone. "Alright, I guess we're gonna watch it then. Are you guys fine with that?" Clay asked, flicking through Netflix. "Sure!" George said, putting his phone down. "Alrighty." Clay said, turning on the movie.

About twenty minutes into the movie, the winter snow that was fluttering around outside became heavy. The gentle pitter patter of small snowflakes started turning violent, the wind whistling and howling as the snow flurried around. "Looks like we're gonna get snowed in pretty soon." Alex sighed, turning his head to look outside. "Seems like it. This happens most years anyways." Clay mumbled, keeping his eyes on the TV. He had Nick curled in a ball next to him, his head rested on Clay's shoulder. "You're not even looking outside, dumbass." Alex looked back to Clay, seeing Nick huddled next to him. Alex looked over to Karl, mouthing "are you seeing this?" and giving quick side-eyes to Clay and Nick, like pointing with his eyes. Karl nodded, stifling a laugh.

After the movie, Clay looked over to the window, snow piling up against it. Nick was now laying down, resting his head on the arm rest, hugging his knees. "Well, I guess we're actually snowed in now. What should we do now?" "No idea to be honest with you." George laughed. "We could bake something?" Karl asked, picking up his phone. "Oh yeah! I got us gingerbread houses! You know, the shitty ones that you have to build yourself?" Clay suddenly said, looking back to the others. "Yes, let's do it!" George laughed. "Alrighty, let's go!" Clay laughed, standing up.
