What? His.. his favourite? But he met George before me, shouldn't it be George? I'm- I'm so confused. How- what? I'm just so confused.

I don't like Clay. We can both agree we don't like each other. We're both straight, at least I think Clay's straight, I don't know. It's just, so confusing. I need time to think about it, but I don't like Clay. That's definite.

I look back at my phone. Ten notifications? It's been like, 3 minutes. God. Nine messages from George, and one from.. Clay? Why would he message me? I always message him first. Well, it's probably nothing. I need to stop overthinking, God. I'll check the messages from George, I know he goes crazy when I don't respond to his messages in less than 5 minutes.

G: yeah, you're definitely his favourite
G: he doesn't try to hide it lol
G: like he's literally said to me you're his favourite

Fuck. He's caught onto something. Well, nothing, but he thinks he's caught onto something. What is with all this me and Clay stuff? I don't like Clay! I could say it a million times and nobody would believe me.

N: hey sorry i fell asleep for like 5 minutes

I put my phone down, but heard it ding again. How is someone so quick to reply?

G: bullshit. once youre asleep you're asleep for 10 hours

Fuck! Why does he know me so well?

N: fine, i had a shower

G: sure ya did, just come back to me when ur ready to admit you like clay

God, what is it with the others. I literally stuttered and they're claiming I like him. This is scuffed. I checked my phone only to remember Clay messaged me. It's weird, I always start our conversations?

C: hey, just wanted to check if you were okay, george said you didnt respond to his messages and he told me to text you :)

George again. He thinks I like Clay, I don't!

N: yeah im fine, just had a shower :)

C: thats good! george was just worried. well, he always gets worried when someone doesnt reply in under 5 minutes haha

N: exactly, hes crazy overprotective LMFAO

C: LITERALLY!! i went to get his birthday present and he nearly called the police when i forgot to respond to his message

N: ACTUALLY?? thats crazy LMAO

C: fr, anyways goodnight!!

N: goodnight :)

(nobodys POV)

Nick woke up with his phone buzzing over and over. A discord call? He picked it up while still half asleep. "Hello?" he mumbled to whoever was on the other side.

"Good morning sleepyhead." He heard a familiar voice on the other side of the line. "Morning Clay." he muttered, while still half asleep. "Haha hi! Come over to mine in 10 minutes, I made everyone pancakes, since you're not the only one that wakes up at 9am!" Clay chimed. Nick could practically hear him smiling over the phone. "Sure, just let me pack some shit because I'm ninety-nine percent sure I'm staying over tonight. I always do!" Nick chuckled, more awake now that his best friend called him. "Alright, see you then!" Clay laughed.
