The night was cold and dark, and only the moonlight and the stars lighted up the clearing. At the center of the ThunderClan camp, a limp tortoiseshell body lied. Many cats settled down by the tom, whispering their goodbye. You were there, too.
As you and Ravenpaw get back to camp, he collapsed. And after some minutes, Tigerclaw get back to the camp, too, with the deputy in his jaw. And now all the cats mourned for him, under the moonlight.
A kittypet joined the clan, and you thought that he's going to barely get through Leaf-Bare, after all, he's just a kittypet. You could see the hatred towards him in Tigerclaw eyes, too.
The sunlight started fill the forest. A new deputy had been appointed, Lionheart. You settled down next to the highrock and started grooming your P/C fur. When it was smooth and beautiful you saw Darkstripe, Longtail and Tigerclaw talking. You padded to them.
"Hi" you greeted, and settled down, next to the brown tabby tom.
"Hi, Y/W/N" he greeted back.
"Want to share prey?" asked Darkstripe, pointing at his plump squirrel.
"Sure" you replied, Tigerclaw gave you two a cool gaze, what made you shiver a little. What now? You thought.
"I really don't know why Bluestar let that kittypet join the Clan" murmured Tigerclaw, shooting a hateful look at the ginger apprentice.
"Agree" you meowed
"I almost killed him" Longtail smirked
"That true, but that kitty torn a part of Longtails ear off" said Darkstripe.
"It was just luck" spat Longtail.
Suddenly, a gray figure alongside a ginger one, started padding closer to you and the toms. You realized it was Graypaw and the kittypet.
"And they are Tigerclaw, Darkstripe, Longtail and Y/W/N" explained Graypaw.
"Hello! I'm Firepaw!" he greeted cheerfully.
You just rolled your eyes, clearly showing you are not interested. Tigerclaw hissed in annoyance, along with Darkstripe. They eventually leaved, and you continued talking with the toms.
